~Beau's P.O.V~
"So, where's your daddy?" I say, swinging my hands back and fourth, trying to be as subtle as possible. I'm that sure she knows it's not like me to give a fuck about her dad's whereabouts and to be honest, I don't. I just don't think it's wise to anger the beast.
"Why'd you ask?" Ellie smiles, raising an eyebrow, after closing the door behind us.
"No reason." I shrug joining our hands back together.
"It looks like he's not here, so we have the house to ourselves for a moment or two." Her grin grows.
"Hmmm so what should we do in the meantime baby?" I grab her by the waist, drawing her in closer.
"Well I guess we could have a little fun." She looks down and begins to fiddle with the hem of my tshirt, teasing me.
"Tell me what you have in mind babe." I whisper into the crook of her neck, earning a satisfying shudder from Ellie.
"I'm thinking we go up to my room.." She takes her lips in between her teeth as her eyes rake up and down my torso. Oh God.
"Then: You can help me learn my lines for drama." She giggles taking my arm.
Urg, I fall for it every time.
"I swear to God El." I sigh as she drags me up the stairs.
"Here." She says tossing me a script from her bag. I know that she's trying to shrug away the fact that I probably just burnt a hole into her backside with my stare. Teaches her not to wave it in my face.
"We're really doing this?" I raise my brow. Running lines is not my first choice for fun when we're home alone. Nore my second, or third.
"Yes. And you may get a little treat when we're done." she smirks, leaning down at me.
"Can't I just have my treat now?" I whine like a child, slumping to the ground.
"Nope. And I said might, so hold your horses." Wow. Someone's feeling extra feisty today.
"No, You said may. As in: Please may I stick my-" She cuts her eyes right into my soul before I can continue. Instead of scolding me, she moves closer until she's completly straddling my lap and her lips are in line with my ear.
"Maybe, baby." she whispers and stays there for a while to her my breathing collapse and hitch in my throat.
Ellie then rips herself away from me, giggling at my unusually flustered state.
Man that girl has me right where she wants me.
"Now it's a simple dualogue." she begins after she's done making a fool out of me. "You're a loving husband that's leaving his wife to go on the run because he's been acused of a crime that he didn't comit. Go." she directs.
"Oh Annabelle, sorry is not a strong enough word." I begin in a monotonous tone.
"Say it properly Beau!" she swats at me.
"Sorry. I mean: Oh dearest Annabelle, sorry is not a strong enough word!" I project my voice earning a warm smile from my girl.
"This is not the fault of yours John." she replys.
"Its the fault of many my dear. But a consequence of mine."
"Oh John."
"Don't you shed one tear Anna. Let me give you something before I go?"
