"Eleanor! Hunny, April's here!" my mum calls as I pull on my skirt.
Why is she so early?
Thank God I've already done my make up. So all that's left to do is tame my wavy hair.
Finally ready, I skip down the stairs to meet April and Skip?
What's he doing here?
"Hey Eleanor." Aprils says and Daniel gives me a small wave.
"Hi," I mutter after catching a glimpse of my fathers sour expression. He's obviously not pleased with the appearance of our new guest.
"Well you better be off then." my mother says, practically shoving us out of the door. She must have noticed the blue vein trying to escape from my dads neck too.
"So..." April squeals, turning to me as we walk away from my house.
"What?" I ask her.
"What do you mean what? You and Beau." She whispers the last sentence and Skips head shoots up.
"You don't have to whisper you know? I've knew before you!" he challenges.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. No you did not!" She points her finger at him.
"I so did! Why would he tell you before me?" Daniel taunts.
"Wait who told who what?"I say, confused at their little quarrel.
"Well, Luke told us that he saw you and Beau kissing yesterday!" She squeals again whilst clapping her hands. Of course Luke would tell everyone that. Despite the small wave of embarrassment that just hit me, I can't seem the stop my wide grin from showing.
"What's the big deal anyway?" I say trying to suppress my giddy feelings. It's almost hard to believe that we've only been together for a day.
"That's a huge deal! He said it was really really adorable," April smiles.
"Well he told me that it was pretty rough. Something about you being pressed against the wall..." Daniel smirks and nudges me.
"Skip!" April swats his arm and he giggles at her.
"Here's the boyfriend now." Daniel laughs, pointing to Beau near the gates. I just laugh along, unsure of wether he knows that we are really together or not. I don't want to tell anybody before Beau does. I remember him mentioning before about his discomfort with overly commercial relationships. Which I don't mind much, I've never really been that fond of them anyway.
"Hey!" The twins say in unison. All eyes are on Beau and I. I'd never usually class myself as a shy person but sometimes unnecessary attention seems to eat away my confidence and I can already feel the heat rising to my cheeks.
"Hi." I blush looking up at Beau and he smiles cheekily.
"Hi? Is that all I get babe?" He walks over and plants a small kiss on my cheek. I instantly flush as his fingers intertwine with mine.
Okie dokie then. I guess we're telling people now.
"Whey!" They all hoot, cheer and jeer as James and Esme join us. All the wolf whistles and applause is attracting a lot more attention.
"Oh my gosh! Did I just miss the first Bellie kiss?" Esme cries.
"Bellie?" I ask raising an eyebrow.
