When Jonathan called me asking to go out with him and his friend Alyssa I was like cool. He's been going through something but he hasn't exactly let me in so I can offer my support. But I know when he's ready he will open up.

Jonathan and I have known each other for a long time and we recently reconciled our friendship about a year ago when he finally decided to talk to me again. When we were younger I had a crush on him and I didn't know how to express myself to him. I didn't really understand it all either. But the way I dealt with it I deeply regret because he stopped talking to me for like 5 years.

After a sleepover we had I went to school the next day and told a friend I had back then that Jonathan had sex with his cousin who happens to be a guy. And my friend asked him about it and we started laughing at him. Since that day Jonathan stopped talking to be and I felt horrible. Since then he never brought it up I don't know if he's over it though.

Looking through my closet I found something to wear for tonight and got dress to head over to Jonathan's house. When I got there Alyssa had pulled up at the same time. She got out the car and gave me a half smile then said what's up.

I greeted her and we walked into the house to find Jonathan and his parents talking in the living room.

His dad got up and gave us both hugs and asked me how I've been. I told him good just trying to graduate and he gave me a nod. Jonathan got up and the three of us walked outside to get into his Mercedes.

Why do you have this bomb ass car again?

Jonathan: So we can go to this event nigga haha.

We all laughed and I saw Alyssa give him a look and I shrugged it off.

Alyssa: Antwan are you single?

Yeah why do you ask? I looked at her waiting on her response.

Alyssa: No reason just wondering I like to play match maker and I think I have a friend who may like you. She really cute.

Jonathan: Girl shut up leave him alone.

Jonathan looked at Alyssa then me and smiled.
I broke the silence and asked if they knew anyone that was performing tonight. And Alyssa said yeah her friend from school was.

Oh okay what school do you go to?

Alyssa: Charlotte Christian

Jonathan started laughing and we both looked at him like he was crazy.

Jonathan: What...? Alyssa I don't know why you go to that school. I mean no offense but that's why you hang out with me all the time because you have nothing in common with all those two-face Christian bible thumpers.

She rolled her eyes and explained to us that her parents wouldn't have it any other way.

Jonathan: yeah but if they found out about your boyfriend and how he's in his senior year of college about to enter the NBA.

I looked at them with big eyes trying to hear more about her boyfriend.
