Last Day of Class

Jonathan's POV

Getting up for school was a complete waste of time, I don't even know why I was going. I'd rather be home packing for my trip with Samir. Turns out will have some guest as well because Antwan and Tee buried the hatchet and became "friends" again. I don't know what's going on between them. Ant has been very tight lipped about their relationship even though I know they are more than just friends. They have gotten closer ever since Antwan's brother came back in town. After everything that happened we never talked about Anthony or his dad. But now... everything makes more sense. Why Antwan decided to break up with Tee, after the whole arrest fiasco. But the only thing I can't figure out is who that mystery FaceTime guy was.

Jonathan were going to be late, so please hurry up I have stuff to do. It may be your last day but some of us still have to go to class my sister said peeking into my room. I turned back to her and snarled, and why can't you ride with your friends again I asked. She rolled her eyes and walked out saying, just hurry up.

Whatever I thought to myself, I remember when I was a freshman, and I don't miss it. They have to take test all the way up to the official last day of school, to prepare for next year. It's some program that was put in place a year before I got their so I know it all to well.

Once we got to the school and parked, Janelle got out the car to meet up with her friends and I just shook my head. Getting out of my car I spotted none other than Shawn and Darius. Shawn was helping Darius with his books while He looked like a neutered pup. I shook my head because I still don't understand why Shawn was behind the school at the exact moment Darius was trying to commit suicide. I got my books from my back seat to return to my classes when I saw them heading into the school, but Shawn turned back to look at me and nodded. I gave him a straight face smile and nodded.

Once I got into the school I was met by Imani who looked stressed. What's wrong with you? I asked. She shook her head and said bitch..... Mr. Bradshaw was apparently sleeping with a student...
what?! I said shocked as fuck. Yup, just before you got here he was being escorted to the administrations office by police.
Who do you think it was, she asked me as we walked past his classroom to see it empty and people whispering throughout the hallway. Honestly, I don't even know I replied. Do you remember when he wanted us to come to his class after school? Do you think...

We looked at each other and said "nahhhh" at the same time. I shook my head as we continued walking to the library to return our books.
But... I wouldn't mind... I mean he's only 23 so it's not that bad. How a teacher straight out of college is teaching high school seniors, bewilders me but hey. The man is fine so I don't blame whoever it was. But I wonder how it got out, she said as we placed our books in front of the library assistant who checked them in.

"You're all set, enjoy your summer and good luck next year," she said smiling. We smiled back and said thank you.

I don't know, I said responding to Imani's question. Maybe the student told.
She looked at me and shook her head, nah my bet is probably on a friend of the student. They were probably jealous or something, she said when we ran into Antwan, who was coming to turn in his books too.

Hey boo! Imani said smiling, how is everything she asked rubbing his arm. It's cool, I've just been going through a lot ever since Anthony showed back up. But I'm dealing with it, and Tee has been a good friend...

Yeah well that's good, have you spoken to him yet, your brother? I asked walking with him into the library. He shook his head no. And I don't intend to either, I'm just waiting to go on this trip with y'all and then off to college. I nodded my head and Imani smacked her teeth. We looked at her and she rolled her eyes. "I can't believe y'all didn't invite me on this little trip," she said with her arms crossed.
