Samir's POVPulling up to pickup Jonathan I get a text from my mother asking me to pick up something from the grocery store and I sigh. Before I could even park the car Jonathan called making me smile.
"Hey I'm outside, you ready?" I asked turning down the music, and he replied that he was coming out and hung up the phone. While waiting I couldn't help but think how far we've come in such a short time span. Dating Jonathan has been a defining six month's in my life, and he's become the most important person too.
Hey baby, he said taking me away from my thoughts, while getting into the car. I smiled and leaned over for a kiss. "How was your day," I asked smiling, taking in his presence.
Nothing interesting, I went to the mall with Imani and helped her plan out her outfits for the trip. You know I'm surprised you invited her, I kind of thought this trip would be all about us. He said putting on his seat belt.
I started the car and licked my lips, while nodding in response to him. This trip is definitely going to be all about us, there's no way around that baby, but I figured one extra person couldn't hurt. Especially considering that Tee and Antwan are joining us again. I figured she can be a nice little filler for Antwan, when I steal you away for most of the trip. He laughed and held onto my hand, and I pulled his up to kiss it.
Okay, so you devised a plan for that, but what about a filler for Tee? he asked with a raised eye brow. It was my turn to laugh because Tee and I don't need a filler. "What's so funny," Jonathan asked. Nothing really, but we don't have to worry about Tee, that man doesn't need a filler, hell do his own thing.
"I guess Samir," but don't be shocked if we end up having at least one shadow during this trip," he said turning the music up and singing along to Rihanna. That is not going to happen I said with a straight face and serious voice, and he started laughing.
For the rest of the ride I just listened to him sing along to Rihanna, Beyonce, Fantasia and surprisingly Pink. Once we finished running around the store to get the stuff my mom asked for we headed to my parents house to drop it all off.
"Great... my dads home," I said pulling into the driveway." Jonathan looked at me and I knew what he was going to say. "I know.. I know, but when we go in here it will be quick, I said turning off the car."
With all the bags in my hand Jonathan walked in front of me to open the door, and my Dad just so happened to be standing there waiting for us to come in. Smiling at that...
"Well look what the wind brought in." he said smiling and swooping Jonathan into his arms as he moved into the living room. I immediately dropped all the bags right there on the ground and followed them. Pops whats up I said with a wtf look in my eyes. He sat down and motioned for Jonathan to as well, and I was confused to say the least. Son how about you go pick those bags you dropped on my polished floors and make sure they look better than how you left them when you're done.
Dad, whatever you... "Samir it fine, please just go pick up the bags," Jonathan said interrupting me. He gave me a 'I got this' look and I looked at my dad one last time before going back to get the bags.
When I got to the kitchen to see my mom, she was a mess, running around like a chicken with no head. The kitchen had pots and pans everywhere and there were cases of food, and wrapped desserts.
