"You alright Riley?" Ryan asked
"Hm oh um yeah it's nothing." I said
"You sure?" He asked
"Yea don't worry about me." I told him
"No I will worry." He said
"Well don't." I said looking at him
"Fine so where's Daryl?" Ryan asked getting back to clearing the fence
"Rick called him, Tyreese and Machone on a run for some cleaning stuff since F was were the infection thing is so they want to clean it to maybe stop it from spreading." I told him stabbing a walker in head
"Oh." He said
"Yeah." I said coughing and spitting out a little blood
"Riley come on that's nothing you just coughed up blood." Ryan said looking at me
"It's nothing okay." I said refusing to look at him
"You need to go see Hershel." He said still watching me
"NO! I TOLD YOU I WAS FINE OKAY!" I snapped
"Your so stubborn!" He said "I just don't want you to be hurt or anything you could have hurt yourself when you were escaping and it is just now showing up. Or yesterday you could have tore something internally.
"I'm fine okay." I told him.....again
"No your not your coughing up blood!" He said "Just please go see Hershel."
"Fine." I said hanging up the crowbar and walking up to the C to go find Hershel
"Hey Riley." Hershel said when I walked in
"Hey." I said
"What's wrong?" He asked
"Ryan is worried that I have something wrong internally." I told him
"Why?"Hershel asked
"He saw that I coughed up a little blood." I told him
"Oh my well lay back and I'll check and see if he's right." Hershel said feeling around on my stomach to see of he could feel anything weird "Well good news is nothing internally is wrong. But you have a high fever and your eyes are red." He said
"Hershel what else is wrong I know there is something else wrong tell me." I said sitting up on the bed
"You have the infection." He said
"What like Pete?" I said scared
"Yes I'm afraid so. You have to go into F and find a cell to call your own for awhile." Hershel said
"I got to go tell Ryan." I said standing up
"No you must go to F now we can risk anyone else getting it. Sasha has it, a couple of the kids and mostly everyone in F when it was attacked has it." "Just go and get settled in a cell in F."
"Okay." I said still scared, shocked and horrified. Was this how I was gonna die from a glorified cold? I walked inside cell block F and walked up the stairs and to my right.
"Glen?" I asked hearing a cough when I walked past the cell next to the one I was going to
"Riley?" Glen said
"Your sick to?" I asked
"Yeah you to?" He asked
"Yeah but hey we can beat it were strong." I said giving him a little hope
"Yeah." He said
I walked past him and into the cell beside his. It wasn't nice like my other cell but it would have to do. I just hope I can actually beat this thing.
