Tori's POV :
I blinked back the tears that were pricking my eyes. He didn't believe me. After all the courage it took to tell him, he didn't believe me. I looked up at him and saw the confusion and uncertainity on his face. A single tear rolled down my cheek as i turned my head, quickly brushing it away.
In a second, i was in his arms. "dont cry" he whispered "it breaks my heart when you do". I melted a little, but the overwhelming urge to be firm took over. I pushed him back with all my force. He ran his hands through his hair in exhasperation
"i have the right to doubt you!" he finally yelled "you just told me something impossible!" i just shook my head and began walking away just as his hand grabbed my wrist.
No matter how much i was angry at that time, i melted the minute our skin touched. "just look at me and tell me its true and i promise i will never ask again" he said, looking me in the eyes.
I took a step closer and tilted my head upwards to see his eyes" its true" i said "and i can prove it" . He looked doubtful which just encouraged me. I looked around and randomly picked a girl. I scrunched my face up in concentration. "throw all the books in you're hands down" i repeated out loud . Without fail, a sedond later, she threw them down with as much force as she could. I smirked and whirled around to see ashton looking at me open - mouthed.
"told you " i said, a sad smile on my face. " wait, so if thats true, we can't be together because if we are, you can't do that anymore? " he confirmed. I nodded. " wow" he said. We just stood there, staring at each other, knowing there was no way we could be together. A second tear followed my first one. He reached up and brushed it away with his thumb and ran the back of his hand down my cheek.
"im so sorry " he let out, causing me to jerk my head up in surprise.
