CHAPTER 1 "i think you owe me another drink......oh,and an apology"

i walked into my new house and gasped . my parents really had gone all out . their jobs had always been well paying and me and tamika had had the best of everything. but this was a new level, even for us .

"hey mom " i called out " i'm heading to the beach in a bit"

"okay" her reply came " take tammy with you" she finished .

i rolled my eyes . new state , new house same old mom. i groaned my answer and ran up the sleek wooden stairs to my new room. my old room was pretty big, it fit me and all my things and thats saying a lot. my new room could fit three people and had shiny hardwood floors. the black and silver shag carpet i had bought for my new room was lying on the floor , giving the room an artistic look. my bed , which had silver black and gold sheets stood against the wall, proudly jutting into the room . the built in closet was so spacious i could sit in it .

i proceeded to grab my swimsuit when i heard a sharp squeal. i jumped to my feet and ran across the hall into tammy's room . it was identical to mine except for the way it was decorated . tammy's style ha always been feminine and mine was classy and chic.

she had an identical rug (little sister and copying everything...i never understood it) only it was a mix of hot pink , purple , turquoise and gold . her bed had purple and blue sheets with pink pillows and her curtains were a shimmery gold . her room looked like a grown up's barbie dreamhouse . i followed the direction the squeal had come from and saw tammy sitting on the floor of her closet , a hurricane of clothes around her and i huge grin on her face .

" hey , what was that noise i heard" i demanded , going big sister on her .she turned towards me completely unfazed .

" this closet is so huge , my clothes are gonna look great in here " she said. i gave her an amused smile and a nod . " i'm heading out to the beach" i said " mom asked me to take you along" . she gave me another toothy grin before standing up .." give me a sec and we'll go"

An hour later we were at the beach. i was wearing a loose white crop top and beach shorts and tammy was wearing an orange sundress. we both had our bikinis inside . it was four pm and the beach was fairly crowed for a saturday afternoon.

" hey , i think i'm gonna hit the waves.'kay?" tammy said . we had both spread our blankets a short distance from the water and had taken our clothes off , wearing our bikinis. i nodded , dozing in the afternoon sun.that was when it happened .

i had completely fallen asleep when i felt a huge splash and cold liquid covering me . i felt a weight land across my body and screamed . i opened my eyes and focused on the breathtaking face in front of me.

i registered a pair of grey eyes with green and gold specks and a long nose. i realized only then that i had been staring. the boy in front of me had his eyebrows clumped together in annoyance .

he grunted and climbed off me . i sat up rubbing my hands down my arms . the boy wore swim trunks and my eyes travelled down the length of his body. i suddenly realized he was saying something.

"umm..what?" i mumbled

" i said , why are you lying in the way , you made me drop my drink" he sneered

i fully realized what he said and stood up , dusting sand off my thighs. " i wasn't in the way" i shot back " you weren't watching where you were going" he smirked and shook his head . " i think you owe me another drink....oh,and an apology" he said

i laughed scornfully and looked into his eyes . i focused and did the same think i have been doing ever since i was a child . i tried to control his mind.

A/N : phew!! first chapter done ! *cheers* that took forever to come up with , mostly cause i wanted a great start ...hope whoever is reading will enjoy
