chapter 24 "Give me the Strength"

ASHTON'S POV :
I felt insane . What was this girl doing to me ?! I felt like an idiot cause i just couldn't stop smiling.  I was addicted to her blushing and her laughter .

But the mood burst in less than a second when i saw wendy .

The smile dropped off my face ,replaced with a deep scowl .i was shocked to say the least . When she left i was hoping to never see her again . And not only was she back, she had a baby with her.

It couldn't be.

I left the warmth of tori's hand and strode up to her .she looked the same .i cursed in my head ,not understanding what the hell was going on .

"What are you doing here" i bit out . She stood up to meet my eyes ,her dress fluttering around her . The baby in her hands cooed and babbled . She kissed its head and rocked it. "Ashton" she began, reaching a hand out to hold my arm ,which i yanked away from her."wendy what the hell are you doing here " i yelled ,my voice holding all the pent up pain . I felt tori's hand slip into mine ,her eyes coldy assesing wendy .

Wendy looked to the ground ,swallowing and seemingly gathering courage . She looked back at me ,a steely expression clouding her eyes ." I moved back to town ,ash"she began "i thought you would like to meet your daughter " she bit out .

I felt the world freeze and my knees wobbled .the colour drained from my face and the anger replaced with horror ."what are you talking about" i said ,my voice dangerously calm .

Wendy sighed and adjusted the baby ,my baby,in her arms . "I was pregnant when i left ,ash  she said , her eyes traveling to mine and tori's joint hands. " I found out after i moved .i had myra a couple of months after " she finished,a tired and sad expression taking over her face .

I felt tori gasp next to me,a look of shock and disbelief taking over her expression."Ashton?" I heard her say ,her voice growing thick .

Oh baby ,no .

I sighed and hung my head before looking back up "did you forget the reason we broke up ?" I demanded "you cheated on me. With Logan ,no less"

Wendys face grew stiff and she scoffed " are you telling me that this is logan's baby ?" She asked incredulously. I walked closer and stared straight at her "did you sleep with logan ?" I asked ,my voice devoid of emotion . "Ashton , i-" "I asked you if you slept with him!" I yelled ,causing the baby in her arms to cry. She shushed it and rocked it before looking at me with an accusing look on her face "i did,ok?" She said . I scoffed and began moving past her when i felt her hand on my arm"i was already pregnant when i did" she whispered.

I gasped .my heart ,whatever part of it was fixed by tori ,broke all over again . I felt tears threaten to spill from my eyes . "You ...slept..what.." i mumbled ,my brain not allowing me to speak clearly . I felt tori retract her hand from mine .i whipped around to see her with tears of her own ."Tori ,baby, please" i begged with whatever was left of my voice . "I ,umm,i'm going home" she choked out before she turned and fled.

I closed my eyes ,begging something,anything to give me the strength to stay upright . She was my hope,and now she left me . I felt responsible in every way .i opened my teary eyes and looked at the baby in wendy's arms ,the baby she claimed we had created together . It had round cheeks and dimples ,and a shock of blond curly hair. It looked at me with its grey eyes and giggled , reaching its hands out .

My featured contorted at the pain my heart was feeling and i wiped the tears away,before looking at wendy ."go home" i whispered and walked past her before she had a chance to stop me .

What had i done?

Wow it has truly been forever since iv updated .i saw the last time i updated and nearly had a heartattack . Hopefully,im back from my hiatus for good .
