Sam P.O.V:
Two weeks later:
It's been two weeks since Alec and I kissed. I thought it would be weird but it's not. Not much has happened in these two weeks. Magnus still hasn't figured out what my memories are bound to. I met a vampire named Simon, apparently he's Clary's best friend, he's weird and I could tell he's in love with her. I still haven't found out what a Shadow Warrior is. Every time I bring it up, they change the subject. Well today I decided that I'm going to find out what it is.
I get up from where I'm laying in my bed and I head out to go look for one of them.
The first one I find is Alec. I smile widely when I see him sitting down at a desk busy with what looks like paperwork. His hair is messy, like he's run his hands through it. I'd like to run my hands through it again...
Focus Sam.
"Alec!" I yell at him. He looks up at me and he smiles.
"Hey Sammy." He says smiling and the butterflies erupt.
"Hey. Can we talk?" I ask him seriously and he nods.
"In private?" I ask him again and he stands up.
"Sure, come on." He walks over and grabs my hand and inter lace our fingers. This has become a thing for us, holding each others hand when we are in the same room. I'm use to the sparks that shoots when we touch by now, but it never gets old. It gives me this warm feeling in my chest and I love it.
I see we have reached our destination. Alec's room. I smile as I remember our kiss from two weeks ago and based on the matching smile on his face, he does too.
He opens the door and gestures for me to go in first. This is also a thing for us, him opening the door for me. The first time he did it, everyone stared at us with their mouths hung open. Apparently he doesn't open the door for anyone but himself.
Stepping inside I see his room is messy as usual. One would think with his uptight attitude his room would reflect that. When I asked him once, he said that his room is the place where he lets loose.
"So what did you want to talk about?" Alec's voice brought me out of my thoughts. I look at him and he's wearing a small smile.
"What's a Shadow Warrior? And don't try to change the subject. Please. I want to know. I need to." I ask him and his smile dissapears and he lets out a sigh.
"Lets sit down." He says and I nod at him. We sit down on his bed and I look at him expectantly.
"A Shadow Warrior is like a Shadowhunter but more. Actually alot more. We normal shadowhunters call you the Warrior's. You have more angelic power in you than us, you don't need training you're born with all the skilks you need to fight downworlders. It is very rare. It only happens once a generation. Warrior's are absolutely lethal and no downworlder, shadowhunter, silent brother or even a iron sister stands a chance against one. They are very dangerous in the sense that sometimes the Warrior in the person can take them over and they become void if they don't have control over themselves. You become a ruthless killer and no one can stop you. Any runes drawn by them can not be broken by another Shadowhunter, Silent Brothers or even the Iron Sisters. Demons can't posses you, warlock magic doesn't affect you unless you allow it or is unconsious. So yeah, that's it. We didn't want to tell you because we didn't want you to worry about losing control. So any questions?" He finishes and lets out a sigh.
"Wow." I say to him.
"Yeah."
"Have I ever lost control?" I ask him wearily.
"No, you had the perfect control over it." He tells me and from the look in his eyes I can tell he's being honest.
"Well that's a huge relief." I tell him with a light chuckle.
"I can only imagine." He says joining in on the chuckle.
"Thank you, Alec. Not just for telling me but for everything. For taking care of me, help training me, helping me settle in, but most of all thank you for being there. I don't know many people who would have done what you did." I tell him sincerly and I give him a smile.
"No thank you nessicary it's a pleasure." He tells me softly.
"Well I'm saying it anyway. You didn't have to do it." I tell him just as softly.
"I would do anything for you." He says in a whisper.
"Me too." I tell him in a whisper.
"I know." He says with a smile.
"You seem to know lots of things." I tell him while returning his smile.
"Well, I am the head of this Institute. It's my job to know everything." He says somewhat cockily.
"Yeah, yeah. Settle down." I tell him with an eye roll.
"Rolling your eyes? I thought that's my job." He says in a teasing manner and we both laugh.
"I thought it was Jace's." I tell him and we laugh louder.
A knock on the door is what brings our laughing to a stop.
""Who is it?" Alec yells at the door and I stifle a laugh at his irritate tone.
"It's Clary." Oh shit. We're never hearing the end of it. I look at Alec and he has the same look.
"Coming!" He yells again.
"Get rid of her." I whisper to him.
"How?" He asks me."Use your normal attitude." I deadpan and he gives me a really look.
"Yes really. Now go." I tell him still whispering.
He goes to the door and opens it. I lay quietly on the bed and listen to the conversation.
"Hey Alec. Can I come in?" Clary asks in a careful tone.
"No" He answers in a sharp tone. Wow, I've never hear him talk like that.
"Okay." She answers akwardly and he sighs.
"What do you want Clary?" He asks her in a gentler tone but it was still stern.
"I wanted to ask you about Sam." She told him and I froze. What about me?
"What about Sam?" Alec asks her in a sharp tone.
"Relax, Alec. I just wanted to know how she is. How she's adjusting. I get the feeling she doesn't like me very much." She says and I frown at the end part. I don't not like her, she's a nice girl but she's too whiny and demanding. She also play's with my brother just as he play her and that makes me angry, she probably started this whole thing of teasing one another.
"She probably doesn't. Jace always was the nice one out of the two of them." He says bluntly. Jace was nice one?
"Oh, well I'll go now." She says hurriedly.
"Okay." Alec says in a monotone voice and shuts the door after her.
I sit up in the bed and I'm desturbed by what Alec said. Was I really that bad of a person?
"Was I really that horrible?" The question tumbles out of my mouth before I could stop it.
"What? No." Alec denies my question.
"Then what did you mean when you said Jace was the nice one?" I ask him and he sighs again.
"You were distant, blunt and sarcastic person. But underneath it all was a loving person towards the few who could gain your trust and respect. Downworlders fears you, Shadowhunters respect you but you weren't a terrible person."
"Really?" I asked him in a hopeful tone.
"Really."
