Sam P.O.V:

"Are you nervous about it?"

At Alec's words, I turned to him. It's night time and we are sitting on the roof of the institute, on the opposite side of where Izzie and I sat two days ago. We are in that stage of we are unofficially together.

"Not really." I answer him, knowing he was referring to Izzie and I's parabatai ceremony tomorrow. "I'm excited though."

"I'm glad." Alec says, nodding his head. I see his hand twitching and I sigh. He confessed his undying love for me two days ago oh so passionately but now he's back to his shy state.

"You can put your arm around me, if you want." I say softly and he releases a breath of air as he puts his arm round my shoulder. I lean into him, a smile on my face as I do so.

"I'm sorry." I say suddenly, breaking the peaceful silence around us.

"For what?" He asks me, I feel him turning his head and I turn to him as well.

"That I can't remember." I answer him softly. "I see how hard it is for you." I do see it, he loves me, so much and I love him but I don't remember him. I don't remember us. And that is taking it's toll on him.

"It is hard." He admits, nodding his head slowly. "But it was harder when I thought you were dead. And looking at it like that, I'd rather have you not remembering and make new memories with you, than you being dead and never seeing you again." He tells me and I smile as I rest my head against his shoulder once again.

"Besides, it's not your fault." He adds on, giving me a kiss on the forehead and my stomach flutters uncontrolably and a drowsy smile spreads on my lips.

With the warmth of Alec's arm around me, it didn't take long for me to drift into a peaceful sleep on his shoulder.

///

I woke up with an arm around my waist and a bigger body behind me. I immediately know it is Alec from the light sparks dancing on my skin and the fuzzy warmth inside of me, he probably carried me inside when I fell asleep on his shoulder. I don't mind though.

"Good morning, Samara." I hear his husky morning voice greet me and I felt like melting right then and there. God, the things he does to me. And I really wouldn't mind waking up like this for the rest of my life.

A smile lit my face and I say, "Good morning, Alec." I turn in his grip and I see his smile mirroring mine.

"So, how did I get out of my clothes?" I ask him as I realise I'm in a t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants, and a blush stains his cheeks.

"I asked Izzie to change you, I promise." He tells me, cheeks flushed, his eyes not meeting mine and I chuckle.

"I believe you." I assure him, placing my hand on his cheek and looking into his mesmerising brown eyes. We both lean forward and our lips touch. I get that feeling again, that warm feeling. That one that makes me feel warm and makes my head dizzy and my knees weak. Good thing I'm laying down right now. I can feel that he's letting me lead the kiss, not wanting to take things to fast, and it causes me to smile into our kiss. We pull apart, resting our foreheads on each other.

"I think we should get up before Izzie comes barging in again, singing hallelujah Angel." Alec whispers and I chuckle quietly.

"I think so too." I agree with him although I don't want to leave his embrace, he relaxes his grip and I roll over to get out of bed. I walk to the door and I give him a goodbye wave before exiting his room and walking to my own room. Luckily I made it there without anyone spotting me, and by 'anyone', I mainly mean Jace and Izzie. They will tourture us, I mean they know I sleep with Alec but stil.

Today is the big day. The day of Izzie and I's parabatai's ceremony and I'm a little nervous. I told Alec I was a little nervous and it's the truth. I am, but now, leading up to the ceremony the nerves are settling in. I take a quick shower and I get dressed. A knock on my door brings me out of my thoughts as I was rehearsing my lines for the ceremony.

I was pleasantly surprised by the face on the other side.

"Hey Sammy." My brother greets me and I grin.

"Hey Jace." I greet back, my voice shakey and he pick up on it. Concern shows in his eyes and he steps closer to me.

"You okay?" He asks me.

"Yeah, just nerves, I guess." I answer him and he lets out a quiet sigh and gestures for me to step aside so that he can enter my room. I do so and we go and sit on my bed.

"It's okay to be nervous. It's normal." He tells me, wrapping an comforting arm around my shoulder.

"But I wasn't nervous yesterday." I complained, not liking the knots in my stomach.

"Yeah, but yesterday wasn't today. Today, it's real." He says and I nod, accepting his words.

"Thanks, Jacey." I tell him and he stiffens. "You okay?" I question him as I looked at him, concern lacing my tone.

"Fine. You just...you used to call me that before you were..." He explained, but paused looking for the right word. "gone." He settled on and I nod sadly. If I find who did this, they are going to pay.

"I wish I could remember." I tell him, tears shining in my eyes.

"Me too, Sammy, me too." He says, his voice cracking. He tightened his grip on me a little, as if to assure himself I'm real and I see tears shining in his eyes as well.

It was time. This was it. Izzie and I's second parabatai ceremony. There wasn't to very many people. Just Alec, Jace, Clary, Izzie's parents and me and Izzie. Izzie and I were standing oppisite one another and we each had a stele in our hands. First, she drew the parabatai rune on my right wrist - which burned - and then I drew the rune on her. We grabbed each other my the right forearms and angelic fire ring lit up around us in circle form.

"Entreat me not to leave me, or return from following after thee." Izzie started, a bright smile in her lips.

"For whether thou goest, I will go and where thou lodgest, I will lodge." I say, an equally bright smile on my lips.

"Thy people shall be my people, and thy God will be my God." The brunette continues.

"Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried." I see Izzie flinch a bit at that part but she quickly masks it.

"The angel do so to me, and more also, if aught but death, part thee and me." My best friend finished, her eyes watering a bit and I know that she is thinking about the night our parabatai bond was severed. Our parabatai marks glows and then the angelic fire around us dies out, signalling our parabat99oai bond once again. I hug Izzie tightly. Eventually we pull apart and I turn to Alec, who is looking at me with a pround grin and a smile strecthes on my own lips.

I was about to walk to him but then something lifted of me, like an invisible force that I didn't know was there. Suddenly I began to feel dizzy and I swayed. I was Alec's eyes widen in fear as he began running to me, desperate to reach me. I heard people calling my name but I couldn't respond as my flesh began to burn and I dropped to my knees and a scream of pain left my mouth. My head became heavier and black dots began to dance before my eyes but I could still vaguely make out Alec's worried, fearful and panicked face. Then suddenly my vision went black and the last thing I heard was Alec's worried voice shouting my name.

And then my memories started to come back.

Here you go.

Her memories are next. I've been planing it since I started this story and I'm so excited to write it. Obviously not all of them but the most important ones.
