Can hearts be replaced?

After Shadow delivered the helpful news, the group immediately left for skull island. In the mean time he took Genie to the beach to watch from afar. He knew Peter would call him sooner or later. Shadow can say for sure that he regrets making that pathetic thing the ruler of this magical place. But he was greatful to have met and protected Violet during this miserable time. When they finally landed, the black sillouette felt pain in this limbs. He let out a roar and looked at his hands, only to stare at them with disbelief. He was turning into something else. A human? This cant be happening.

Soon enough Peter called to the origonal demon of this island, so he ignored the burning sensation that slowly crawled up his arms. He looked back at the still uncouncious genie before asking the mermaids nearby to look after her. Of course they agreed and brought her closer to the water as the shadow flew away.

When everything was over, everyone pilled onto Hook's ship. Everyone means everyone. The lost boys, Henry, The box that contained its prisoner, Wendy, Rumple, even Shadow who had been watching over the still sleeping Violet. The Evil Queen was confused as to why she was in the state but Rumple claimed that his mother was in a coma. She was in too much distress and "wasnt ready for such a strong spell". Then everyone's attention turned to Shadow. His hands were now like a humans but with little  black designs starting on where his wrists are. No one could explain this. They had never seen anything like this. But of course, Shadow kept silent and let no one come near the purple haired beauty on the cot. It was the same when they arrived back in Story brooke; 24/7 watch in the hospital. Shadow bearly let the doctors and nurses touch Violet. But soon Dr Whales took interest in Shadows transformation and made the creature from Neverland have a "check-up".

When Violet woke up, a strange man that she had never seen before was sitting next to her. Staring at her with his unusual dark red eyes that glowed a bit when he noticed she had woken up. She gasped as everything hit her like a truck. Instead of crying she just stood still as the strange man called a doctor. Dr Whales checked her vitals to announce everything was ok. As he was doing this, Violet was checking out the stranger next to her. Yes, in the way you're thinking. Her eyes went up his built, tall, tense body to the black scruff on his face to the lucious black curls on top of said strangers head.

"Who are you?" She asked confused and coughed. He gave her a glass of water before answering with,

"Well, ive given myself the name Roman but you used to know me as Shadow. From Neverland remember?" His eyes showed concern as she gasped.

"No. Dr Whales who is this man?" She asked franticllay " How did I even get here? What happened?"

"He is telling the truth. When he came back with you he was turning into a human. In a way he is like you though. A very powerful entity in human form." He described. The doctor then explained the past events and told her how Peter is causing havic in town. " Roman has been by you this whole time so ill let you two get to talking but please, stop him."

After the genie showered and changed into her regular clothes, she sat with Roman at Granny's and drank some water.

"Would you like some food?" He asked.

"Um. Just some fries would be fine Shadow- i mean Roman." She sighed and rubbed her temples."Im sorry."

"Its fine. I know you have to wake up first. You did just take in a lot of information."

He brought the fries to the purpled eyed girl before starting another conversation."What do you want to do about Peter?" She just kept eating and studied Roman's face. He was about to ask again, thinking she didnt hear him, but then she opened her mouth to speak.

" I want to kill that low life but I want to see my son first. I also want to sleep and run away but I wont. So I guess im gonna go with the first one."

Roman chuckled and said he would track down Rumple's location and take her to him. Luckily he was on the sidewalk, walking their way with everyone.

"Violet!" Everyone hugged her except Rumple who she smiled sadly at. Everyone quickly let go when Shadow cleared his throat. Violet then walked to Rumple slowly, not knowing how he would react.

" Rumple, my son, I am so sor-" Mr. Gold cut her off by hugging her tightly. She let the tears fall freely and hugged him back.

"Its ok. Im not mad at you. Ill always love you. This wasnt any of your fault." His words comforted her until he said the next sentence." We're going to see Peter Pan now. To stop all this madness once and for all."

Violet just nodded into his shoulder before pulling away. "All of you are going?" Of course, the usual gang and a few others nodded. " Then i am going with you."

"Violet please dont-" Rumple started.

"I know we just reunited but I am mother to you. Also I make my own decisions. Now lead the way before i find him and kill him by myself."

With that they led the way, Roman was by her side the whole time with her arm looped around his muscular one. She did this because she began to feel tired from all the walking. She did just wake up. Roman felt a spark of excitment when she did. He liked her touch but of course he was there to help as well.

"Ah, so I see you've finally woken up my love. I was starting to get worried." Peter commented sarcastically.

"Dont call me that if you've never even loved me." She said back fiercely.

"Dont be like that dearie. If you want the truth I was waiting to get Henry's heart  so I could come here and steal your lamp away. And since you loved me I would have endless wishes yes? But now I guess that wont work. Especially because Rumple hid the lamp away."

"Good thing I dont love you. Now stop all this nonsense and go back to the island where you cant bother anyone."

"Sorry mother but that's not the plan here." Suddenly Rumple nodded at Roman who then held Violet tightly against his warm chest before Rumple put a spell on everyone infront of him.

No one could do anything as Rumple let his plan follow through. Before He stabbed the dagger into her past lover and son, a tear slipped down her cheek and power radiated off her frozen body. When the two disappeared, Bell fell down to the ground crying and Violet yelled for her son.

"Rumple!" Her power started burning those around her except Roman who continued to hold her.

"Please my little flower, take control of your power." He whispered. She did as he said and knelt to the floor, sobbing. Roman craddled her in his lap as Bell and Bailfire came to comfort her too.

"Violet." A man knocked on the door.

"Thats grandma to you Bailfire." Violet said, trying to lighten the mood. It had been a glumy week. She had been crying for most of it. Not because f that repulsing man but because of her losing her child, again. Roman had been living with her now and they had gotten aquainted very fast. Especially since he wouldn't leave her alone but she didn't mind. Soon she saw her grandson wasn't alone. Bell and Roman also occupied the doorway of her room." Are we having a party? I would've made myself look decent if I knew."

" You've been in here too long my flower. We've come to get you out of this house." Roman informed her.

"Maybe we'll go visit the rest of the gang and get some ice cream." Bell smiled.

"Ah. My lovely daughter has persuaded me. She knows ice cream always wins. Lets go." With a snap of her fingers she dressed into all black and pulled her hair into a messy bun.  The two younger ones had left but the red eyed man stayed, leaning on the door frame.Roman chuckled and  stepped closer to the girl  in front of him when she finished. He softly pulled her chin upwards so she looked up at him. He wished away the make up she had made appear on her face and changed her clothing into something brighter as she stared into his enticing eyes that seemed to take away her breathe recently. He slowly leaned in closer and closer.

"You dont need that. You look perfect." He whispered in her ear before smirking and leading her outside where the others were.
