Garry and I decided to take the hall to the left. We passed the door and turned down the corner leading to another hallway. When we were able to take in our surroundings of the grey hall, I couldn't believe my eyes...
Eyes.
Eyes were everywhere.
Big, beady eyes, with pupils of pitch black protruded from the floor to stare up at the two trespassers."Yaaaah!" Screamed Garry as he took a step back. "What is THAT?! Gross is what! Why are there EYES on the FLOOR...?!"
I sighed with exasperation and walked back towards him. I grabbed his hand and pulled, but he wouldn't move. He seemed to be paralyzed with fear.
"Garry!" I called loudly, but he didn't even notice.
I made my way around him and pushed him roughly in the back, causing the purple-haired boy to topple forward closer to the awaiting eyeballs.
Mid-way to the ground, Garry released a horrific scream and scuttled towards the grey wall, clinging to it for dear life. I stared with amazement. Wait... I thought he was an adult. I thought adults were supposed to be brave.
Garry finally took notice of me and stood up slowly from his cowering position.
He cleared his throat before approaching me, taking my hand, then saying, "Come on, Ib. Don't be scared. I'll protect you."
I rolled my eyes as we walked down the hall of harmless eyes, but once again, I doubt he noticed.
After walking a ways, I noticed one particular eye on the ground that was a sickly red. Garry was trying his hardest to not pay attention to the eyes, so I tugged on his jacket to catch his attention.
"Yes, Ib?" He questioned with his voice still shaky from fear.
I simply pointed at the eye and looked up to see him pale. "D... Does this lone eye have a congestion problem?" He asked to no one in particular.
I guess there wasn't much to do about it anyways, so we continued walking until approaching the end of the hall.
We walked past multiple paintings, one of a girl, one of some large ice, a painting of a big white snake, and some scenery.
The only place left to continue was further down the hall and around a corner to the right.
Garry and I walked through the Gallery with anticipation at what awaited us along the way.
Eventually, we came across a hallway branching out to the left from our current path. In the hallway to the left was a big, grey door. Of course, Garry and I could just continue on down the current hall to see what awaited us...
