I slowly walked through the hall, taking my time in examining the unnerving paintings before me.

When I reached the last painting in which the blade of the weird contraption had completely vanished, I stopped, right when -

THUD!!!

My eyes widened in shock as a heavy metal blade lifted back up into the ceiling after crashing down. That was close... too close...

I had felt the metal wizz past me. My nose had been mere inches away from being cut off entirely.

I steadied my ragged breath and shut my eyes. This was getting to be too much...

I whimpered and ran down the steps at the end of the hall. I was going to get out of this hallway, and away from that blade, and hopefully soon, away from the gallery.

When I felt my foot reach the last step, I stumbled forward into red painted hallway with a path leading to the left of me.

I took a deep breath and started walking forward until I heard light footsteps skitter across the hall to my left.

I froze.

What was I about to face?

I looked down at my trembling hands, but there was no way I was going back up the stairs to where the blade awaited me.

I calmed my shaking body and turned the corner.

The only thing that was present in the hallway was a painting of what looked like a dove blowing a trumpet with a plaque underneath labeled, "Breath".

My heart rate slowed considerably after I realized that the hallway was deserted of any creatures.

I continued through the hall and rounded a corner to the left leading to a big red door.

What greeted me beyond the door was a big blue statue of a misshapen figure.

The plaque underneath the sculpture simply read, "Uh".

How strange... I thought to myself before glancing around the rest of the large, open room nervously.

I noticed another painting titled, "??? Pattern".

The painting displayed feathers with hues of blue, green, and purple

I smiled lightly at the beautiful work until I noticed yet another big, looming statue like the previous one.

The only thing that made it different than the blue statue, was that it facing the opposite direction, it was colored red, and was titled, "Ah"

I shook my head at the strange title of the even stranger sculpture. What type of insane person was Guertena to create such disfigured and sinister pieces?

Suddenly, a worse thought occurred to me. Was Guertena himself aware that his paintings and sculptures were coming to life? Was he aware of the gallery filled with horrors?

I felt a shiver up my spine and decided not to dwell on the idea further. It was only causing more fear in my mind.

I saw another painting titled, "Heart Wounds" of a blue-grey oozing heart with an arrow sticking out of its side.

After passing the blue painting, I walked toward my right to see a painting of a beautiful yet frightening woman dressed in a crimson dress with long brown framing her face

The plaque underneath her was titled, "The Lady in Red". I stepped back from the plaque to view the painting better when suddenly -

CRASH!!!

The sound of glass breaking brought me out of my daze as the Lady in Red's torso crawled from the painting.

She started swiftly dragging herself across the ground towards me, though the frame still clung around her waist.

I hurriedly backed away... I had to run!!! But which way?!?!? My mind was too clouded with fear to think straight...
