I decided to follow the green dressed painting's directions. It had seemed the most trustworthy.
I went back through the door to face the statue.

"Stand in front of the statue, go west 3 steps, then south 1 step. That's the answer!"
Okay, here goes nothing.
I stood in front of the statue, and moved to the left three steps. Then I moved back down one step.
Nothing happened.
I looked down at the loose tile below my feet. I guess I have to lift it up...
I lifted it.
Suddenly, toxic gas filled the room and I began choking!
Cough! Cough! Cough!
Soon, the entire room was filled, and I was nothing more than a limp body in the room of loose tiles.
