(DISCONTINUED) Ib - An RPG Horror Game Story (Choices)

As I'm sure you've guessed by now, Ib - An RPG Horror Game Story will now be discontinued. For those of you who want to know my reasoning behind it and wish to know if I ever will continue writing it, then stick around.

Firstly, I'll explain why I decided to stop writing this entirely. At first it was simply because my other book The Raven & The Spider had become much more popular and was in higher demand. After a while though, I realized the true reason.

While this book may have been a challenge to write considering the fact that I had to constantly check the Ib Wikia page and the game itself for reference, and because I had to match up each of the chapters with each other so the story made sense, the actual writing portion was not challenging enough.

Think about it. Each of the characters had already been created. The storyline and plot was already existent. Most of the dialogue and events were already written. It seemed my only job was writing filler paragraphs to tie it all together. Basically, it was pretty boring.

Because almost none of this was my own original work, it wasn't challenging my ability as a future writer and I just didn't see the appeal anymore. I was really excited to first start writing it because I've loved this game for a long time now, but it was a bad idea.

Not only because it wasn't challenging, but it was a bad idea because if you really crave learning about the game and it's storylines, you could just go play the game or even watch a play through. Writing a book with so many different choices and outcomes just became a major headache.

I did a lot of thinking before I decided on discontinuing this book, but I think it's for the best. I apologize to those of you who enjoyed this book and who wish I would continue it. On the bright side, I'm considering writing another book with choices in the future, but this time it'll be my own work. My own story, my own characters, my own dialogue, everything.

I might continue writing this in the distant future but to be honest, It's a very low percentage. Based on the reasons I gave you I hope you can understand why I chose to do this, and I hope you're not too upset. I want to thank all of you who read my story though and supported me throughout. I wish I could've lived up to your expectations but I'm only human after all.

I think I've covered everything, so for now I'll say goodbye.
