Timetable Twins (4)

Lily jumped out of her chair and grabbed me, using my bag as a carry handle-to drag me out of the Homeroom of hell.

"Au revoir!"

I blew an imaginary kiss at Tom, who looked shocked at me, even though his face was covered by his hoodie.

And into geography.

I was top of my class back in England, just because we studied England.
Yet when I couldn't remember the name of the city I was currently in, I was ashamed.

"Hi, I haven't introduced myself, I'm Lily Valentine." My brunette Homeroom acquaintance walked with me.

"Hi, I'm Gracie." I smiled at Lily.

"Can I check your timetable?" She asked while nudging my timetable towards her.

"Sure" I smiled at her.

"We are in all of the same classes together!"
She squealed.

"That means that you have 4 classes with Tom..." Her voice dropped an octave lower.

"So?" I asked Lily.

"So? Gracie, he's a life ruiner, and normally he is like that, but since you have challenged him, he will make your life really hard." She looked at me sympathetically.

"Whatever. I'm not scared of him."
I replied curtly.

"You should be."

And then, the bell rang to signify another lesson.

Inwardly groaning at the next subject, art.

As I walk in the familiar smell of oil paint and freshly made canvas. Naturally, with my mom being a fashion designer and my father an architect, I was always top of the class.

"Ah let's all welcome the new student, Gracia Assette!" The teacher clapped at us.

Lily raised her eyebrow as if to say: 'Told you about the hard life...'

Tom.

I'm going to kill him.
