“Sam! Wake up Sam!” I heard someone shout at me.
“He’s waking up!” Someone else shouted.
As my eyes slowly opened, I saw the familiar faces of Headmaster Rowan, Professor Cheren and some of the Academy nurses.
“This one is waking up also!” A nurse next to me shouted.
I turned my head painfully towards where the nurse had yelled from, and noticed Toby also starting to wake up. All of the shards of ice had been removed from him by the nurses, leaving him with numerous plasters and bandages wrapped around him.
“What…happened?” I croaked. I had still not regained all my energy yet.
“It seems you had quite a nasty battle with our friendly cloaked man.” Professor Cheren sarcastically replied, putting emphasis on the word ‘friendly’.
I tried to sit up fully, but my body wouldn’t let me. While the shards of ice had also been removed from me aswell, my body was still recovering from the attack and every movement sent surges of pain up my body.
“Sam, can you tell us what happened? After finally waking up from that blasted Darkrai’s Dark Void attack, we heard a huge explosion from down here. We rushed here as quickly as we could, only to see the cloaked man leave with the Light Orb.” Headmaster Rowan asked.
After hearing Headmaster Rowan’s last comment, I slumped back onto the floor and shut my eyes. “So that means he got away with it?” I asked slowly.
Headmaster Rowan simply nodded his head slowly.
“There was nothing you could do, Sam. That man’s powers are far beyond anything that we know of.” Headmaster Rowan said sympathetically.
“Now, I think it’s time we gave these two some of rest. Everyone-” The nurse was cut off by Toby, who had managed to prop himself up on two arms.
“No! Wait!” Toby said painfully. “Nurse, do you carry around a Full Restore?”
“Yes, I do. Always.” The nurse replied, pulling out a small yellow bottle from her medical bag.
“Great!” Toby said. “My Dad once told me that Full Restore’s and other healing items can be used on both Humans and Pokémon! I’ve never tried it before, and this the perfect opportunity!”
“I really don’t know about this…” The nurse muttered.
“It’s worth trying.” Headmaster Rowan said firmly.
“Well, alright then…” The nurse said, walking towards me and spraying the Full Restore onto my wounds. Almost immediately, I felt the wounds across my body suddenly close and become pain-free. Energy shot through my body as if I had just been electrocuted, and my body started to become loose and functional again. It was like a breath of fresh air had gone through my entire body, leaving me feeling fresher and more alive than ever before!
I sat up immediately, and started removing the bandages on my arms. As soon as they were off, I noticed that the wound from Weavile’s attack had completely gone! I stood up and did the same to the rest of my bandages on my legs, and they too had no visible mark of any wound what-so-ever!
“It…worked!” The nurse stuttered. I looked at Toby who was grinning smugly.
“I told you it would work.” He said, but winced in pain immediately after as he moved an arm too fast.
The nurses rushed over to Toby and similarly sprayed him with the Full Restore. He too immediately stood up and walked around the room, just to check that it really had worked.
