Chapter 13 A Test of Skills

The mating went so well for the three of them, though they didn't report back to the High Council that they mated the three of them instead of to just two like they were directed to, Anton was so stressed out with how to even tell the powers that be what they had done even though it worked out so well. Now with their powers tripled in strength and new powers revealing themselves each time they practice. Emari is pushing for more and harder practice sessions from the other two each time wanting to know what new powers they have gained this day with so may new thing happening so fast they can't keep up.

What one learns they all must learn how to do rapidly in order to keep up. Emari it seems is the leader when it comes to practicing and learning new things. She pushes the others to the limit and way beyond. Always testing their skills pushing just that tiny bit more.

They get the call from the High Council that they have all been dreading, the questions no one wants to answer, while they are busy down in the office together filling out their training paperwork on their tablets to send off electronically. That is when it all slips out, the one blunder that they all forgot about! Not telling the high Council all about their special training and how they are able to all three increase so dramatically when they are only supposed to have two mated in the first place.

The office phone rings not thirty seconds after Emmie and Emari hit send on both of their tablets forwarding their training results. “Hello Julie here how may I direct your call please?” She asks the person on the other end of the phone. “Right away your Majesty, yes ma'am, yes I sure will they are all standing right here in front of me. I sure will. Thank you so much your highness it is always a pleasure to serve you. Hold on I will get them for you.” Julie stated to the Queen on the other end of the phone, nervous sweat dripping down from her forehead. “Anton the Queen wants to speak to the three of you on the speakerphone you can pick it up right there hit the third button then the conference button.” She said.

Anton gave the two girls a look of desperation then hit the conference button on the office phone system. Hello Madam Queen Verena how may we be of service to you today.” Anton asked trying to keep the waviness out of his voice knowing fully well what this call was all about.

“Anton is Emmie and Emari there with you?” Queen Verena asked sharply... She was voicing her full authority using her Alpha voice Her voice demanding their full attention with her words and inflictions.

“Yes your highness they are.” Anton meekly replied back her power and authority hit the mark dead on with him. With them all, even Julie shrank back into her desk chair.

“Good I just read over all your training reports and they are quite troubling to say the least. Why are all three of your reports exactly the same? Are you fudging these reports you are sending in which case you know is against the High Council rules punishable by...” the Queen faded off at that point not elaborating on the punishments for failing to fill out the paperwork properly. “Please explain these reports to me. How you came by them all being the exact same when I would expect one to be far less than the other two with you Anton being matted to one of my two daughters?” The phone went totally quiet.

“We... that is... where the problem lies... your Highness... you see about the mating... um... it is like... um... this...” Anton stopped his eyes were wide and he was turning so pail you could almost mistake him for a ghost.

“Madam Queen, Mother, if I may it is Emari you daughter... I would like permission to speak on our behalf?” she asked trying to smooth thing over seeing Anton having so much trouble trying to string together even one simple sentence to their mother the Queen.
