Chapter 27 Clyde's Mistake our Fortune

The UK group moved in with us just as we were told, right as planned on the following weekend. We had just enough time to make adjustments to the sleeping arrangements to fit everyone in. Sandu and Amalia moved in together with little Valia and Wilda in her section of their room, The second large room was set up exactly like Amalia's room for Emmie, Anton, Icka and Stella.

Samantha moved into Xandria's room up in the tower, while Tamsin moved in with Maria till the new room was finished off of the kitchen. Sorin, Catarina and little Bavo moved into the next largest room so they would have room for all of them. Leaving Emari and Ceferina to bunk together. Julie just moved into Viorel's old room down in the old office. The only ones to have their own place was the 6 guards their building was totally done when they arrived.

With all the arrangements made and everyone settled they went about the task at hand, trying to track down Clyde the traitor. Still having fun with all his bouncing around between the two countries, he had moved on further west to the little town of Bathgate North Dakota. It is in the US just to the south of the Canadian town of Winnipeg where a large Werewolf pack is situated. But to our advantage that pack of wolves is one of our allies in this fight against this crime toward all humanity.

After his visit to them they called us up to report in asking about him. The Alpha of the pack called asking if we sent him as a test of loyalty to the High Council that they knew he was a member of the council at one time in the past. They had no knowledge of him defecting to the other side, or that he was the head of it all. When we filled him in on what he has been doing all across the US and Canada he told us that Clyde asked him to join in with his group of several thousand Werewolves to band together to fight for their rights. That the High Council was putting all the werewolves down and he needed his help to stage a revolt to put the High Council in their place and take over the command from them and this new group called the Protectors and Enforcers.

Once he understood what was going on he joined in with our group on our side to stand his ground and fight against Clyde and his band of marauding men and women out for one thing only the destruction of the human and vampire races. He said Clyde was moving further east which we found to be a total lie a week later when he showed up west of there in another small town. We were no closer to catching up to him or capturing him for that matter.

On a lighter side back home here at the manor everyone was settled in to their normal routine where the three guys would get up early to head down to the dining room early to eat and talk between themselves. All the girls would stay up in Amalia's room with the three children after they had their baths and chat for a little while before heading down to join the boys for breakfast. On this one particular day, they were all about to come down the steps when out of the clear blue sky a voice rang out clear as day.

“Here Kitty Kitty Kitty!”

Both Emmie and Emari turned bright red in the face and flew down the stairs with everyone else in hot pursuit directly for the dining room. Sitting there with the biggest grin on his face was Sandu and hiding his head in his arms was Anton. “YOU!... HOW COULD YOU TELL THEM THAT!?... DAMN YOU!.. DIDN'T WE WARN YOU WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU SAID THAT AGAIN?” Emmie screamed at Anton while he just shook his head while covering it under his arms forehead laying on the table. 

“I didn't think” was all he got out. 

“RIGHT YOU DIDN'T THINK MISTER ANTON!” Emari was fuming mad at him also. “WE GAVE YOU A BREAK THE FIRST TIME!... BUT YOU HAD TO GO BLAB TO YOUR BROTHERS... DIDN'T YOU MISTER BIG GUY?” Emmie slammed her fist on the dining room table making everything on it jump and startling Anton.
