Chapter 16 Ouch - That Butt Chewing Hurts, Practice Make Perfect

Julie paged our group down to the office round about 8 AM, right after we had finished eating our first meal with Lady Samantha; our new resident witch. We all headed down to the office Lady Samantha in the lead shocking everyone that she knew where it was. Entering the correct doorway we all took our seats for a call from our Queen. It was a relativity short call chewing us out for not thoroughly checking out the village and surrounding forest above and below for any signs of the werewolf enemy. Then she commended Lady Sam on the great thinking and work she did in eliminating the threat to our training camp.

After the call we all headed out back into the sunshine to retire, chitchat, laugh over the call we just received, and got to know Lady Samantha a little better. It was a very relaxing day considering how it all started, with the ass chewing, and all.

********** Ravenwood Manor ***********

Down in the underground practice room the newly mated couples are experimenting with their new powers. Ceferina keeps attempting to teleport herself from one side of the training room to the far side, but can only make it a few feet before reappearing. It just isn't working. Sister Cata can make it all the way and back with ease anytime she tries it; as can Sorin. Sandu, Amalia and Amalie are still working on something different in another section of the room. Rina is getting pissed off to say the least. They huddle around her to see what she is doing wrong.

“I Close my eyes and think of a place of where I want to be, but when I open them I am only one foot closer to it.” Rina states.

“You need to really want to be there. Close your eyes just as when you want to go invisible.” Catarina is explaining to her. “Then you will yourself to that one spot with all your being, with everything within you, see it, feel it ,then let it go, feel yourself traveling and arriving at the spot you are visualizing in your mind; and poof you are there.” Catarina explained how she did it, so Ceferina gave it one more try with Cata and Sorin standing by her side willing her on and sure enough she ended up slamming herself up against the far wall so hard you could hear a loud cracking noise from her body slamming against it.

Standing back up after slamming into the wall and falling on her butt she shook out her head to get the stunned effect out of it, then tried again and was standing right back where she started from. This time without hitting anything or slamming into another wall or falling on her butt on the floor. Sorin and Cata cheered for her achievement patting her on the back they all stopped for refreshments before beginning a new practice.

Sandu, Amalia and Amalie are in the rear of the practice room doing their own thing. They are trying to levitate massive boulders make them disappear from one side of a wall and reappear just to the other side of that very same wall dropping from about eight feet up then down on an unsuspected enemy. So far only Sandu has accomplished this feat, but he is doing his best to teach it to the twins who are picking it up literally very quickly. “Now once you make the bolder disappear in your mind lift it up and over the wall then guide it down right upon the enemy standing against said wall.” Sandu tried to explain.

Amalie was the first to try again after Sandu moved the bolder back into position. Concentrating on the large bolder it disappeared then you heard a loud crash, the wall crashed to bits. Amalie blushes three shades of red in her eyes and her skin went pale white. Worst case of blushing ever seen in a vampire. The bolder reappeared in the middle of the rubble, but there was no longer a standing wall; she had flattened it when the bolder went right through it. Oops slight miscalculation in height and speed.
