The following day, Jess surprises Rory with a trip to his old stomping grounds, New York.

Jess has room reservations for them at the Hyatt Hotel in Times Square. When Rory and Jess reached their hotel room, Rory was surprised to see her mom and Luke also.

"Hey mom, what are you doing here?" Rory asks surprised.

"A little birdie invited us. Wow you have gotten bigger."

"22 weeks. I can't see my feet anymore. I don't know if I have matching shoes." Rory complains.

Lorelai looks down at Rory's feet. "Don't worry your shoes match." Lorelai laughs.

"Jess, I'm going to get some drinks. Wanna come with me?" Luke asks.

"Yeah. I'll be back." Jess kisses Rory on the cheek.

Lorelai leads her daughter to the couch. "Where are you and Luke staying at?" Rory asks.

"Across the hall. So tell me, how's Philadelphia?"

"Good. I have been offered a position for an internet news website. It's not the New York Times. But it's not the National Enquirer. Jess says it's a very respectable magazine. For now I will be just reporting on special events happening in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs."

"Wow, good for you. Have you heard from Logan since that awful dinner with his father? Mitchum is lucky I wasn't there. I would have slapped him myself. No one talks to my daughter like that." Lorelai says.

"I haven't heard from him yet. Oh, gosh, I forgot. Today's his wedding day."

"So Mitchum and his family finally gets the woman they think Logan deserves. Bet grandpa is happy." Lorelai still begrudges the Huntzberger family for how they treated Rory over a decade ago.

"Mom, as much as we don't like them, my son will be a Huntzberger as well." Rory says.

"I know. That's the only reason why I haven't told your grandmother. Imagine what Emily would do." Rory and Lorelai laugh as they envision Emily Gilmore and Mitchum Huntzberger showdown.

"I told Logan the only Huntzberger allowed anywhere near our son is him. I just can't deal with the rest of them." Rory said.

"Well, we better get ready for a night in this city. Do you have any idea what's going on?" Lorelai asks.

"I thought you would know. I am so out of the loop."

"Trust me. You're not the only one." Lorelai laughs.

Jess, Luke Lorelai and Rory hail a cab. The only hint that was given as to where they were going was Jess telling the driver "Richard Rogers theatre please."

"What's at the theatre?" Lorelai asks.

"It's a surprise." Luke replies.

"You know?" Rory is surprised by this revelation.

The cab pulls up to the theatre and the marquee sign states "Hamilton: an American Musical."

"You're kidding?" Rory exclaims as she exits the cab.

"How did you get the tickets? They have been sold out for a year." Lorelai says. Neither women can believe they're going to see "Hamilton". They have been talking about the musical forever.

"I have a connection at Truncheon Books," Jess said. "So are we going in or what?"

Rory and Lorelai skip to the theatre to see the show they have been talking about for over a year.

After the musical, the Dane/ Gilmore/ Mariano clan head back to the hotel. Jess and Rory order room service and as they wait, Rory and Jess sit on the couch to talk.

"You surprise me, Mariano." Rory tells Jess.

"How's that, Gilmore?"

"The sixteen year old boy that came off the bus from New York would have never been caught dead watching a musical." Rory said.

"And that's where you're wrong. I actually liked Rent." Jess laughs. He kisses Rory deeply, wanting more when someone knocks on the door. "Room service."

When dinner is finished, Rory sits on Jess's lap. "Is baby Richard full now?" Jess asks.

"I think he's finally asleep. He was kicking and moving to the music earlier." Rory laughs.

"And how's his mama?"

"Happy. This has got to be the best Valentine's Day ever. I love you, Jess."

"I love you, too Rory." Jess kisses Rory, picks her up and carries her to the bedroom.

Jess lays Rory gently down in the bed and starts to take off his shirt. "No, babe." Rory stops him. "Let me do that."

Rory gets off the bed, slowly, one by one unbuttons Jess's shirt. As she does so, she kisses him as more skin is revealed. Jess stands in front of her with no shirt. Rory just caresses the strong arms that have held her many nights.

Rory slowly unbuckles his belt and pulls down his pants. Jess is just so entranced by watching her unclothe him piece by piece. It's more sensual than he expected.

Rory kisses Jess on the lips as she grabs his penis and tugs on it. She pulls down his boxers and is impressed by his length. Rory gets on her knees and puts him in her mouth. She wants so badly to pleasure him the way he pleasures her.

But Jess pulls her on her feet. "Rory, you're going to make me cum. I want to come inside of you not in your mouth." And he kisses her hard.

Jess leads her to the bed. When the back of Rory's knees reach the edge of the bed, she sits down. Jess pulls her on her feet so he can help her out of the dress and underwear.

Rory finally lays down on the bed and watches Jess crawl up her body. His brown eyes darkened with pleasure.

Jess lies down next to Rory. Her back leaning on his chest. He massages her breasts from behind as he kisses her on the lips. His hands trail her belly to her nether regions and inserts a finger.

Rory is just panting with pleasure as Jess fingers her, making her wet. "Jess, please."

Jess finally lifts her leg a little and enters Rory. The pleasure she feels is immeasurable. Jess starts moving at first slowly then faster. Rory is biting her lip to stop herself from screaming.

Jess switches position. Rory on her hands and knees while he enters her from behind. Rory gets closer to the edge. Jess bend and whispers in her "baby, let go," just as he fingers her clitoris. Rory screams with pleasure as she comes, Jess following closely behind.

Jess pulls out, lies in bed next to Rory, wraps his arms around her, and whispers I love you. Both Rory and Jess are finally just able to catch their breath and sleep.
