Tanner's POV
Hi there! I'm Tanner Mata. I have a twin, Tyler. He's in California right now, modelling and being a good boyfriend to Rachel. Haha. My parents are in Colorado. They're handling our bussiness. I know Tagalog a little bit since I've been staying here in the Philippines for almost 5 years now.
I'm 22 years old. Modelling is my job, but I consider it as a hobby. I like surfing, club hopping, and racing as well.
I have a bestfriend, Cora Wadell. People say we look good with each other. But I only see her as a sister or a best friend.
I'm in the club, Privy right now with my friends. This is owned by one of my bros, Wil. As usual, the club is full of people. But, one girl caught my attention. She was wearing a pink dress and white sandals.
Even though she's petite, she looks beautiful! Damn.
"So, what do you think Tanner?" Wil asked me.
"Huh? Ano?" I asked them, still looking at the girl.
"Ayyyy!! Who's the lucky girl Tanner?" Cora squealled.
Just like that, my friends were teasing me already.
"Haha. Loko kayo" sabi ko.
"Anyways, what do you think about a week vacation at our beach house in Batangas?" James asked.
"Yeah sure. When?" I asked.
"Next week" James answered.
"Pero, we all have to bring someone with us! And that someone is from this club! Para may thrill!" Sabi ni Thuy.
"Yeah!!!" Cora
"This would be fun!" Ben
"There's a consequence for the one who's not going to bring a 'date' on our getaway. He or She would pay ALL the expenses, well except for the hotel accomodation" Wil said.
I smirked. This is going to be easy, since I'm gwapo naman.
"So, do we have a deal guys?" James shouted and raised his glass.
"The hell we do!" Jinri shouted with a smirk plastered on her face.
We laughed and drank our drinks.
"Then we better get going and look for our dates!" Sabi ko.
I glanced at the counter where the mystery girl was sitting kanina. But to my surprise, wala na siya dun. So I asked the bartender where she went. He told me that she asked where the rooftop is and maybe, I'd find her there.
I took the elevator in going up. It took me a minute before reaching the place because there were alot of people who needed to stop in different floors.
When I reached the rooftop, I saw her, but her back was facing me.
"ANG SAKIT! SOBRAAAAAAA!!! SANA PINATAY MO NA LANG AKO EDWARD! EDI SANA DI KO NA NARARAMDAMAN TONG SAKIT NA TO!!!!! ANO BANG MALI ANG GINAWA KO SA'YO HA?! ANO BANG MERON YANG HEAVEN NA YAN HA?! ALAM KONG HINDI AKO KASING GANDA NIYA PERO BINIGAY KO NAMAN LAHAT DI BA?! YOU PROMISED ME! PAASA KA AT AKO NAMAN SI TANGA NANIWALA NAMAN SAYO! AKALA KO TOTOO YUNG TAYO! I HATE YOU! YOU WILL REGRET THIS EDWARD! MAGMULA NGAYON AKO NA SI MARY DALE VERSION 2.0 AT PAGSISISIHAN MONG INIWAN AKO! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
She was screaming and at the same time crying.
I'm not really sure but, it pained me to see her cry. I wanted to run towards her and comfort her, but I was frozen. I remembered something in my past that I really don't want to remember.
I can feel her pain.
