Nowaki's POV:
I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. I groan and sit up, reaching over and turning it off. Might as well get up since I'm already awake. I yawn and rub my eyes, stretching a bit. It's my turn to make breakfast.
As I turn to my right to give Hiro-san a soft kiss on his forehead, I stop. My eyes widen as I look at the scene in front of me: Hiro-san and Zoe snuggled together. Or rather, Zoe is snuggled up against a softly snoring Hiro-san.
When did she get here?
Oh well. It's still a cute sight. I smile at them and get out of bed, being careful not to wake them. When I get up, I stretch again and walk into the bathroom to brush my teeth and take a shower.
When I'm done, I walk back into the room and see that they're still sleeping. Hmm, I should check on Faith and Jade. I walk down the hallway to Zoe's room and gently knock on the door.
"Is everyone awake?" I call gently.
No reply.
I gently open the door and peek in. Both of the girls are snuggled up in the covers, still asleep. I gently close the door and walk away. I'll let them sleep until I'm done with breakfast.
When I get to the kitchen, I was my hands and put on an apron. Chocolate chip pancakes sounds good. Now, where did I put the flour? I rummage around in the pantry for a bit, trying to find it. I could've sworn it was-
"What are you looking for?"
I stop and look behind me to see Jade. I smile at her. "Ah. Good morning, Jade. I'm just looking for the flour. I'm making chocolate chip pancakes." I say. She smiles and runs over to me.
"Can I help? Please?!" She asks excitedly. I'm about to respond when we hear someone laugh.
"Really, Jade, calm down. Good morning, Nowaki-sama." Faith says, walking in. I smile at her.
"Good morning, Faith. Hungry?"
She nods and stands next to Jade. "What are you guys making?" She asks.
"Chocolate chip pancakes. Want to help as well?"
She nods. I turn away and hand them two extra aprons. They take them and put them on.
"Okay, let's get started!" I say, clapping my hands together.
They nod and I start giving them things to do. Jade goes to the fridge and takes out the eggs and milk, while Faith goes to the pantry to get the flour.
"Jade, can you start mixing three eggs in a bowl? Faith, I want you to start mixing the flour and the milk together." I say as I take out the bag of chocolate chips. They nod and start to do as I ask.
Once everything is mixed together, I poor the chocolate chips into the batter. Jade and Faith thought is was wise to steel some of the chocolate and eat them when I wasn't looking.
"No more." I pull the bag away from the two chocolate thieves and they giggle, giving me playful pouts.
"Oh come on! Can't we have some more?" Faith whines. I smile and shake my head. "Nope."
"Please? Just two more?" Jade begs, giving me puppy eyes. I swear, for a 16 year old, she acts like a kid.
"No. We need these for the next batch." I say.
They pout up at me as I start to pour the batter into the sizzling pan. When the first stack of pancakes were done, the air was filled with the sweet smell of them. When I was starting on the second stack, we heard someone come in.
