Broken Solitude [Lapidot]

Who are you?

-Lapis' POV-

It's been a week since that day that Jake asked me out on a date, during the date I couldn't focus on it, I kept thinking of Peridot, and how she must've felt

I tried to talk to her the day after, but she just ignored me

I tried again the next day

The same thing happened

And so I tried again and again until the weekend passed

I'm still determined to talk to her

I wait at school at the front for her to pass by

Soon I see her walking and I approach her

"H-hey Peri!"

She looks up at me funny, like as if she's confused

"I'm sorry, but who are you and how do you know my name?"

What?

Does she not remember me?

"Look I gotta go before I get late for class, bye weird person" Peridot left right after saying that

All I can do is stand and stare in shock

-Peridot's POV-

It hurt, it hurt so much to do that, to pretend that I don't know her, but it's what I chose to do

I walk away from Lapis, but not without shedding a tear

-Lapis' POV-

I sit down at the usual spot for lunch, thinking of Peridot and what happened earlier

Shortly the others come and sit down

"What happened to you?" Pearl asks me

"Just thinking..."

"Bout what?" Amethyst asks

"Peridot..."

"What happened now?"

"Well, I tried to talk to her again but when I did..." I pull my knees closer to me "she acted like as if she never met me before"

Everyone stared at me except for Jasper who stared at the ground angrily

Suddenly she stood up and stormed off while saying "Not again Peridot!"

All of us watch as she goes into the school

Where is she going?

-Jasper's POV (YEA IT'S HAPPENING)-

I go all around school trying to find that blonde idiot

She can't do this again!

She can't just ignore it like as if it doesn't affect her

After 10 minutes I find her eating alone on the roof of the school

"Peridot!" I shout out to her

She jumps little in her spot and slowly turns around

I walk towards her and as I get close I see that her eyes are red and tear streaks on her cheek

"You got some explaining to do Peridot"
