Obliviate ~ Wolfstar

A Wizard

"A....wizard." Remus said after Lily's outburst.

"Yes, a wizard." James sat down and sighed.

"A good one, too." Sirius added.

"Lily dear, don't go!" James said as the door slammed shut.

"Too late." Remus whispered.

"She is going to murder us." Sirius whimpered.

"Listen, can you fully explain? I have no idea what being a wizard means, and so please, I need to know!" Remus asked.

"A wizard. Greatest thing ever. You are also a werewolf, and the lycanthropy cycles will start again now you have remembered that you are a were wolf. You grew up pretty much alone, and you came to the best ever magic school, Hogwarts. You met James, Peter and myself, and we were the greatest pranksters of the school, and were named the 'Marauders'. Then, well....let's not come into that."

"What did you do, Sirius?" Remus sighed, and James stifled a giggle.

"What, James?" Remus asked.

"It is just, you would say both of those questions when you were, I mean, before." James smiled.

"In answer to the first question, um, well, I kinda obliviated you. That means I made you forget everything. But I only meant for it to be short term, not long term! I swear!" Sirius exclaimed.

"Why did you obliviate him, Sirius?" James asked his friend.

"Ah, well, Prongs...." They shared a look.

"You were doing it with Marlene weren't you."

Sirius nodded. He looked up at Remus and whispered, "Sorry."

"Another question. How do I get my memories back?" Remus asked.

"Well, you see, I don't know. Neither does Prongs, and well, you were always the smart one, the one who knew everything. Now, we will have to turn to Dumbledore for help, and probably risk my life in doing so. You were one of his favourites, see. Built the Whomping Willow for ya, see?" Sirius explained.

"And when is this 'Dumbdoor' guy coming?" Remus questioned.

"It's Dumbledore." James objected.

"Hmm, I think I said....tomorrow at 5, yes, I did. So, we'll see you again, tomorrow, right? And forget about the job. You have resigned. James did that for you."

James and Sirius walked off, talking.

Remus sat down on the sofa with a thump.

"A wizard, huh?" He closed his eyes and went to sleep - it had been a long day.
