"I can't believe you ship them together! That is basically incest!" Remus crinkled his nose in frustration upon hearing of one of James' biggest ships.

"Oh shut up, Whovian, some of your ships are abominable, don't start telling me off about mine, sort out your mind first," James retorted.

They had been discussing multiple ships for the last half an hour as they took a long, therapeutic walk back up to the castle. Now, back in the castle gates, the atmosphere seemed to become almost darker, to Remus as least, and James ambitiously grabbed Remus' arm.

"Nope," he declared, "You are coming with me."

"What? No, I'm going to the Room, have you seen me?" Remus objected, referring to the state of his clothes.

"Ugh, fine. A quick shower but then, you are coming with me," James corrected quickly.

They bounded up the stairs, avoiding multiple students, and fled into the Room of Requirement. It was empty as always, there was no cheerful Sirius in here anymore. And all because of you, Remus thought spitefully, you won't ever see that smile again.

Remus had a shower and got changed into his preferred clothes, and then James clamped onto his arm like a maniac. His eyes were manic.

"Look," James began, eyes wild, "You are coming with me. You have to. I have a plan, and said Plan has to go the right way."

"Fine. Where are we going?" Remus asked.

"Promise me you will come."

"Why?"

"Just do it...please."

"No," Remus crossed his arms.

"What?"

"No. I said no, I won't promise. I know where you are going to take me and I will not come. James, he won't want to see me, he will hate me and I can't handle seeing that on his face," Remus explained.

James sighed and let go of Remus' arm, "Fine."

"Fine?" Remus looked up, surprised at how easily James was taking this.

"Fine. I didn't want to have to do this, but you aren't going to agree, and you are going to see Sirius whether you like it or not," James decided, taking out his wand and pointed it towards Remus.

"James," Remus warned, as if talking to a child.

"Petrificus Totalus," Remus froze and collapsed to the floor. James caught him, stood him up and conjured a stretcher. He made it float in the air and placed Remus gently on it. Remus' eyes followed his every move, unable to move or make a sound. James levitated the stretcher out of the Room, instantly receiving weird looks from the older students and the teachers. None of them, however aided Remus. It was some of the younger students who eventually came up to James. A second year girl, who stared at James, horrified, and asked, "What have you done to Professor Lupin?"

"He wouldn't obey me, so I froze him," James explained, bending down to the girl's height.

"And so he should, he is an adult with his own free will, you can't just freeze him, and take him places," she explained stubbornly.

"Well, clearly I can, I mean, I just did," James rolled his eyes.

"It's not the done thing, Professor. Did Professor Lupin even defend himself?" The girl questioned.
