"Unity is strength... when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved." Mattie Stepanek

After promising Garcia girls night I returned to the bullpen where everyone was sat at their desks doing paperwork, I jogged up the steps making my way to Hotch's office my heels clicking as I went. I knocked on the door and entered, "morning sir," I chirped and he nodded for me to sit down I sat down on a chair opposite him, "The director and I have decided we are going to give you a shot in the team, if you go to admin they will get your badge arranged and we will be going to the shooting range in an hour," I nodded and stood up, "thank you so much sir, I will go and do that now, thanks again." I smiled as I left, I made my way down to admin and got my badge done my picture isn't great but it will do, once I've done I head up to her Hotch so we can go to the shooting range, "you ready?" He asks as I enter his office I nod and he leads me to a black SUV that is waiting outside.

"Okay Williams, whenever you're ready," he says, I nod tightening my grip on the glock I take a deep breath and as I breathe out I pull the trigger repeatedly, emptying my clip into the target. The target moved towards us and when it got close enough I could see half of the shots have hit the head and the rest have hit the centre of the chest, "impressive, I take it Bill has taken you to a gun range before." I smile and nod, "many times, when I decided I wanted to be a profiler he insisted on dragging me to a range," Hotch smiled, "he said you were good but I thought he was just saying that because you are related, but I can tell you obviously are good and he wasn't exaggerating at all," I let out a small laugh, "okay well you have definitely passed the firearms test, Morgan will take you to do the physical later if you want, the sooner we get the tests out of the way the sooner we can have you officially working with us," I nodded, "yeah okay no problem. What does it require?" I ask beginning to worry, "there's some running and sit ups it's pretty basic, you'll be fine. It's more a precaution Reid never completed it." He said with a slight smirk, "well shall we head off? I should probably head home and change," he nodded, "we can swing by at your apartment on the way back if you want," he offered and I nodded, "that sounds like a plan."

We went back to mine and I gave him some coffee while I changed and packed a bag to change into, I scraped my hair back into a tight ponytail and I threw on some leggings and a vest, "shit where are my-" I hissed as I rummaged for my trainers, shoe rack! I headed to the living room to find Hotch looking at a picture of Naomi, uncle Bill and I, I grabbed the trainers and my bag of spare clothes, "ready when you are sir," he turned around putting the picture back and handing me the empty coffee cup, I put it in the dishwasher and we headed back to the BAU. "Morgan, have you finished your paper work?" Hotch asked and Morgan nodded, "I need you to take Williams for her physical tests." Hotch ordered, "ok we can go now," and with that Morgan and I left the bau and headed to the field track.

When we arrived it was glorious and sunny, "ok Williams warm up and then we will start." I warmed up and did some stretches, "okay so first I'm gonna ask you to a 300 meter sprint, I'll be timing it but don't worry," he said with a wink, so I start running, well sprinting to the marker Morgan had laid out for me, I ran it in 53.2 seconds which is apparently a pretty good time, next I had to do as many sit-ups as I could in a minute, and it was now that I thanked myself for going to the gym every now and then, I did 45 sit ups in a minute and then I had the dreaded one and a half mile run which I completed in just over 11 minutes, by the time I had finished I literally felt like I was going to die, "Jesus Christ Morgan! Please tell me I am finished!" I puffed as I plopped down on the floor, "have a rest, then push ups, and then you're done baby girl." He smirked, "ugh ok," I grabbed my litre bottle of water and drank it as quickly as I could, "I'm gonna do these push-ups and then I might die," I groaned, "yeah no worries baby girl," I did the push-ups and I had to do as many as I could without stopping I did 32 which is above average, "damn you're good! All of your scores have been above average, you definitely pass the test," he patted me on the shoulder, "hey Morgan?" I mumbled and he stopped and looked at me, "any chance you can teach me some more combat and self defence? Because that guy yesterday, I was sloppy and the only reason I got him was because he wasn't expecting the hits," he nodded, "aight, we can start now, if you want." So we did we spent an hour and a half of self defence and combat practice, "we are gonna do this as much as you want baby girl, but I think you are ok to go in the field." I thanked him and we headed back to the office, I quickly changed when we got back so I wasn't in my sweaty clothes, Morgan went up to talk to Hotch about how I did, so I headed over to the coffee machine.

I sighed happily as I took a sip of my coffee, Hotch and Morgan walked over to me holding a gun and what I assume is my badge, "Welcome to the BAU, congratulations." Hotch said with a small smile, "thank you sir," I replied grinning like a moron, we chatted for a while before I made my way to the bat cave, "Yo Garcia, girls night?" I asked and she stood up nodding her head vigorously, "Yes! You have been training with chocolate thunder, I need details!" She grinned, "okay then lets go, please can we order takeout, I physically cannot cook tonight," I groaned and she nodded, "sounds perfect." We both headed to the elevator planning what we were going to do, "personally Penny, I vote tequila shots and lots of em!" I say chirpily, "where do I sign up?" She laughed, "we my friend have a lot to celebrate!"
