Chapter 7- Feelings,Coma's and Visions

Ben's POV

3 month she's been asleep, We've done so much without her, Karen's now dead, (So we think) and the aliens have gone, but of course we're now fighting the ones that helped us win..It's confusing, I vist her everyday, I stay with her for what seems like days, she's just lying there not moving, Anne said that her body is taking time to heal and she'll be my boo again..I need her to pull through this, I can't live without her,

"Ben, I need to do some tests on her" I looked up, I walked out sliding down the wall and crying, my dad came running up to me hugging me to his chest, I held it and cried I missed her, I needed her back..

"Ben! Ben! Tom!!" We rushed in her room and saw her waking up and stretching.

"Leigh, your awake" I said hugging her, she groaned, 

"Sorry, I forgot" I let go, She tried to sit up but fell back down again, I knew she would she looked so weak I hated seeing her like this. I wanted so help her, or do something, anything that would make her smile, 

"Ben..." I shushed her..

"Don't talk, save your energy for fighting to get better" She nodded and smiled, I laughed and sat next to her, by now everyone would of known that she was awake even Pope, I looked at her Mitch tattoo, it wasn't fading at all, like she'd got it re-coloured just a few days ago, Of course that didn't happen. But it looked so clean and brand new. 

"It's re-colours" She squeaked..

"Oh, I just find it cute, you have only two" 

"Hey, don't judge, you don't have any" She giggled, 

"Ben, I'm sorry I never should of done that, I should of spoken to you but I was angry at my brother and it felt right..."

"No, don't talk, your little brother's coming soon..Just let's talk another time yeah?" I nodded, 

"Liam, I never meant to harm anyone, I.."

"No, selfish, Danny has been thinking that your dead, Fucking dead Hay" I teared up.

"I think you should leave" Anne raised her voice to Liam, he walked out chucking a couple of things.

"Lee" Danny shouted running through with Anne's little girl.

"Er?" She shook her head, meaning she'd tell me later...

Hayley's POV

I watched as Danny traced my tattoo's, he traced the one I got done when I was 16 (Parents consent) It was a butterfly design on my lower arm. He always loved that one, said it made my arm look nice. 

"Where did you go? He asked sitting on the bed. 

"I had to go out for a couple of days, Anyway did you behave for Liam and Anne?" She nodded he giggled. 

"When can we play tag again? I miss playing with you" We all chuckled.

"Well, if she's right in a couple of days we can let her out but she can't fight. Mason. Got that" Tom chuckled. 

"Come on, let's leave these to alone, they need to talk" Ben laughed as Anne and Tom walked out and left us alone. 

"Ben, I can't say sorry enough times, I shouldn't of left, be traded you and I.."

"Shut up, will you, I'm glad, I have you back. I'm glad everyone knows,Because they know now how bad ass you are" We laughed. The rest of the week was spent with Ben, Danny and Lexi. I knew everything about Lexi and how it's weird but I think my little brother and her make it like a little me and Ben. 

"Hayley, you can go now. Come back though I want to see your progress throughout the days." I nodded, Ben picked me up.

"Ben! I can walk ya know" He put me down, 

"Tryna help m'lady, Gosh!" He giggled. 

"Come on,you two. People still need help. Let's go" 

We walked out hand in hand and got a lot of weird looks. Like a lot of people were looking. People coming up to me, saying how glad they were that I was alive and I beaten the coma and all rest. I wasn't really interested in it. I wanted food and to be back on the Mason table again. Talking about random stuff.

"No trust me, Fighting a Skitter is well worth than shooting one, Leigh? Agree?" Hal said as we arrived at the table.

"I dunno, Hal. Fighting a skitter is trouble. Shooting one is so much better, watching them die, like nearly all the human race has.." Tom chuckled.

"Guess we've got you back?" I nodded and started eating my food. Ben kept whispering in my ear that how he missed me and he'll get me if I do it again.

"Okay, Hal gear up! Ben you can take care of Hayley for the night. Tomorrow I want you up bright and early" Tom gave orders and we all went our separate ways..Me and Ben went back to the rooms.

"So I guess we're okay then?" Ben asked, grabbing my hand, it fitted perfectly like his hand was made for mine. 

"Ben, Of course, I think I should asking you that! Look we've been through too much to break it now, I'll always love you. I was scared because I had the chance to be happy and you know me. Happiness is like a different language to me.I think if I put aside my worries and me being scared we can make it work." He kissed my cheek. 

"Thank you! You mean everything to me, I would die if I didn't have you, You are the only thing that's kept me strong through the past 3 months. Knowing you'll wake up and be right by my side. I love you" He kissed me and walked into his room where Matt was. I walked into the room I shared with Danny and Liam, of course he wasn't sleeping here tonight.

"Night Dan" I kissed him on the head and he dozed off.

I climbed into bed and started sleeping. I woke up and saw my mum in the middle of the room.

"Mum?" 

"Darling ,you're so big. Look at you. 16 is it?" 

"No, 17 this year. Mum. Alive?" 

"Hunny, You can't love Ben" I looked at her weird.

"Why not?" 

"Do you love yourself?" 

"Mum we're talking about Ben not me" 

"Do. You. Love. Yourself?"

"No, I don't, everything I hate, everything about me I'd change"

"See, you can't fall in love until you love yourself. Which it shows you don't"

"Mum, what do I do?" 

"Fall in love with yourself, feel confident with your scars, Your a warrior now. Be happy that you changed, your stronger now. It's gonna be fine" 

"Is dad's place okay?" She nodded.

"Yes, your necklace is still there and yes so is Dan's blanket. Go there and be safe. I love you always" 

"Love you to" With that she left. I knew we had to go to that place I needed the necklace. No one was going to stop me.
