Chapter 9- It's all coming back

Hayley's POV

We had moved about 4-5 miles from the hospital we stayed in. My dad has been spending time with Dan and Nat more, I don't mind because it's how he wants to bond. Liam hasn't spoken to me neither has Tom, I know there'll be an argument between me and Liam. 

Me and Ben sat at a table waiting for Tom to call me in his office, We all knew what was happening, he was kicking me out. Ben said he would go with me but I knew he wouldn't plus my dad would stay. It'd be like starting again. People walked past wishing me good luck, I chuckled at a few. I've been through worse.

"Hayley in please" Ben kissed my cheek, I walked in agreeing to meet Ben at the park thingy it had. 

"Please take a seat" Following his orders I sat down and put my gun across my knees.

"Look before you kick me out of the 2nd Mass, you need to know. My family have nothing to do with it, I get I went to the house , I didn't tell you and It was out of order. I could of put you and the 2nd Mass at danger.-"

"I'm not kicking you out" Tom butted in. "I'm disappointed in what you've done. Bringing people into the 2nd Mass without checking them?" He raised his voice.

"Are you really gonna be that guy? I had nothing, and when I saw my dad my first though was getting him and my cousin to safety" He sat there looking at me.

"And before you say anything else. I never had a proper family like you. It was always one week at my dad's and the other at home or my grandma's this was in the holidays. So think when I went to school. I didn't have a dad, Now I've got him back. I don't regret for a second what I did, And I never will." 

He stood up and walked around his desk putting the papers on the table besides him. 

"Now we normally send people away,but you've been through hell and back, but people will cause a riot if we don't do anything about it. So Hayley Bridge until further notice you will not have a gun. If there is a fight then you can have it back. But now please hand over your gun." I nodded and passed him my gun, he wasn't having my knife.

I walked out and straight to Ben, ignoring what everyone was saying. I didn't want to see anybody else. As soon I got there he hugged me. I knew Tom thought I was an idiot but it was my dad, I needed him, We walked to the canteen after I told him what had happened.

"Well,well well. Looks like he didn't send you packing. See this is what happens when the leader's boy starts having a relationship with someone." Pope said as we both walked in.

"Look I get it, you hate me. You will always hate me but what I don't understand is why" 

Before he could say anything my brother butted in.

"Hayley, family meeting now, Pope sit your ass down before I put you down" 

We both walked after him shouting at the people to mind their own business, we found my dad by the park bit.

"We're gonna talk like a family, finally. Now Hayley what's up" I looked at him.

"Are you kidding? I've been disowned by my boyfriend's dad and my brother won't talk to me" Liam chuckled.

"Well maybe because you didn't speak to anyone. You brought the back the man that was never there for us. You told me that you where going for a blanket so Danny could sleep. Not bring back the man that never wanted us. He's back in our lives and wait until he leaves again. He'll leave and you'll be heart-broken again. He's just a sperm-donor" I looked at him with anger and shock I felt a tear roll down my cheek.

"You have got to be joking. Yes I get he's never been there for us. He's not the best dad in the world. But we have him now. It's not his fault mom broke all contact with him! That's why he didn't come and see us because of mom. So before you start calling him a bad parent think of the woman that never let us see him, before you judge him!" I shouted, he stood there taking everything in. I loved my dad and how dare my brother accuse him of something like that. 

"How would you know what a dad is? Hell dad didn't want you at the house. When I was 15 where did you think I went. I went to my dad's" I chuckled. He didn't know, 

"Liam I hate to break this to you but you're adopted. I found the papers. Mom told me not to tell you because it would break your heart. I'm so sorry" He chuckled. 

"I know, dad told me when we started walking here, that's not working anymore. I know I'm no longer part of this family. But this is the only family I have. I don't know if my real parents are even alive. So if it's ok with you I'd like to be apart of this family." After that he stormed off, I mean I didn't mean to upset him.

I later caught up with Ben and the Mason's, We all had dinner and decided they'd go check the area of course I still wasn't allowed out since the whole thing with Karen happened. It was pretty sad but I understand how things were and how they had to be. 

I walked into the bedroom my family would be sharing, Dan was sat playing with a toy I got him from my dad's house.

"Hey Dan what's up?" He shrugged his shoulders. I knew something was up.

"Come on, It's me what's up?" He started crying. I knew something was wrong.

"Natasha says I'm a...a..freak because of..my..my scars and spikes Hayley." I pulled him close, Him and Natasha never got a long, she always picked on him. I never liked her but she must of found the house and my dad opened it up to her.

"Hey, you're not a freak okay. You are perfect to me and Liam, now we have all the family we need nothing is gonna happen to you I promise, I'll look after you. You have nothing to worry about. You are not a freak ok" He nodded, Just as he was about to say something Tom walked in.

"Is this a bad time?" I shook my head. I told Dan to get some sleep he clearly needed it and that I'd be there when he woke up.I walked outside with Tom and he explained why I couldn't have my gun back just yet, and why I wasn't able to go out in the field and that was because of Karen and he explained that in the next couple of weeks Ben wouldn't have as much time to spend with me as he would be with the others making sure that we had safety at all area's and no danger would come to us. 

I walked out of the building and walked to the park where Ben was, I hadn't seen him properly all day so I thought these last minutes before he goes away I'd spend with him.

"Hey," I hugged him, he hugged me tightly. He knew why I was hugging him so tight.

"I'l be back you know? It'll be 2 weeks top and I'll be back. Nothing is gonna happen. We are gonna be fine." I nodded my head of course I had a little bit of doubt but there was more hope than anything. He had to come back I wasn't losing him. 

We talked for the few remaining minutes we had left, we talked about stuff that might happen and stuff that did happen.

"BEN, POPE,MAGGIE, THE REST LETS GO" We both stood up, I would've been going with them if it wasn't for that stupid blonde bitch. He held my hand, we stood like that until Tom walked over to us.

"Ben come on," He nodded, I could see a tear roll down his face. I kissed him and hugged him, He smiled.They both walked away.

"Hey Ben" He turned around. " Kick some alien butt for me" He laughed and nodded, I watched the boy I loved walk away, knowing that he might not return and that was the worst part of anything. I had lost hope..

Hey guys. Another chapter:) hope you guys liked this one. I've had a lot of ideas for these chapters so I'll be uploading more and more:3 

I start back school tomorrow and I have about 35 days not including weekends till I finish so in those 35 days I will be posting as much as I can but I have GCSE's coming up and I'm wayy behind on my Drama coursework but like I said as soon as I can post I will do..
