Why Are You Crying

I have become
Made of stone
A statue
Crafted by the hands
Of someone who should be considered a goddess
Yet under appreciated
For I am always there
A statue
You watz around me
Unable to see me as I erode away
The rain washes bits of me away
And there's no one there to preserve me
As rain washes my face
It doesn't end for many days
Yet the rain that is already there does not stop you.
You judge that artist
You rip her art apart
Destroy her heart
She asks over and over
Why are you crying?
Why are you crying?
I'm a statue you let crumble
Sculpted by a goddess
Who gets no recognition
Because I was already torn
By the one who tore her down
The rain continues
And I wither away.
Why are you crying?
Why are you crying?
