With whatever James and Riley are doing, I know that West has a lot of things to do as well. I know Emily and I know him.
I know that it's been awhile since they have really talked and I wanted to get them close to each other again.
West says he's all about love and maybe it's rubbing off on me. At the moment, it just seems like my sole purpose is to get West and Emily back together.
Although, they never were really together...
It's the second day of James's training and he got up pretty early this morning by himself.
I think he was hoping to surprise Riley by waking her up but she was already awake. They wandered off somewhere so now I'm left with helping Emily cooking breakfast and West sleeping.
"Hey Emily, can I ask you a question?"
"What is it, Eldon?" She asks
"Do you ever think that if you loved someone before, you can love them again?" I say vaguely so she doesn't catch onto the point.
"Love is complicated," She answers, setting up the table, "I mean look at James and Riley,"
"Oh, yeah," I say distractedly
"I mean they love each other, I know but can love really make James into the person he once was?"
"I think... Love can do anything,"
Emily nods, "Wow, you've matured since I last spoke to you,"
I laugh and West comes into the kitchen, "Good morning, where are the two love birds at?"
"The early bird catches the worm," I smile, feeling great that I said something smart. West and Emily give me a confused look but then shrug, "What?"
West shakes his head which is what he does when he is feels disappointed in me as a human being.
I glance between the two of them slowly, "I'm gonna go for a walk,"
"Right now? You haven't finished helping me make breakfast!" Emily calls out as I reach the front door.
"West will gladly help you!" I shout back and close it behind me.

"What was that about?" I ask with a confused look on my face.
Emily shrugs and passes me a set of plates, "How are you?"
"I'm good, good..."
I actually know why Eldon left. He wants me to talk to Emily about us. To be honest, I don't really feel too confident about this.
I take a deep breath, "Um, Emily, actually, I have something to talk to you abo-"
"I know, West, Eldon doesn't just act all weird like that all the time,"
I laugh, "Well Eldon acts weird all the time,"
Emily smiles and chuckles, "How could I forget?"
"But seriously though... I still feel something for you, Emily," I say truthfully
She nods and walks towards me, "I do too, West but... Here's the problem with you and me, we can never be. It's just me the right time or place-"
I cut her off, "I understand, Em. I'll always be here, okay? Let me know if you change your mind,"
She gives me a small smile but I can't help feeling really down about her response.
