Chapter 4

Gabe's POV

"I wish there were more days like this" She said and I smiled and said "me too"

She smiled the sorrow that was once in her eyes faded away and she looked at the sun.

It was around noon by now. I smiled at her. She looked so pretty today..."Clem"

"Hmm?" She looked at me and I smiled. "I think we should hang out more don't you?"

She hesitated at first then said "Yeah.." I smiled and looked off enjoying the time with her.

Clem's POV

Gabe was making me feel things...I cant get attached to him. He'll just die like everyone else.

I looked at him and then he looked back at me slowly inching closer to the point where we were side by side. I stared at him my face flushing.

He smirked and looked off at the sun. I looked away and thought for a moment. I cant like Gabe...I...I've lost too much and refuse to lose him too.

I sighed and watched the clouds slowly moving in the sky.

I smiled to myself and looked back at Gabe when I did he was staring at me. I stared back for a moment, then I quickly turned away. He sighed and smiled at me.

Javi's POV

I slowly made my back proudly with my rabbit. I looked over and saw Tripp carrying a deer. I sighed and we made our way back to camp.

I looked up on the roof to see the love birds Clem And Gabe. I smirked and yelled "Did you kiss yet?" They both scowled at me and I chuckled heading inside.

I quickly went to check on Kate then I helped Tripp skin the animals we caught.

Gabe's POV

I blushed at what Javi said and me and Clem scowled at him.

"Clem you hungry?" I asked as she zoned out again.

She jumped a bit and said "Oh um yeah sure" I smiled and got down off the roof, "C'mon lets go into the forest!"

She came down after me "Alright" She said while reloading her gun.

We walked in the forest for awhile I managed to find a blueberry bush and I we bath sat down eating berries.

"It feels like forever since I've eaten these!" She exclaimed smiling at me.

I smiled back and said "I know and they are so good!" She smiled and we continued to eat the berries.

It was beginning to get dark so Clem and I decided to head back to camp we brought a couple of the berries back for the others.

Once we got back I opened the door  to find Elanor and the others actually cooked dinner.

There was Deer and rabbit. Clem licked her lips and I did the same as Javi teased

"Where have you two been?" He asked smirking. "We just were hanging out in the forest eating blueberries" I said and handed Javi a handful of berries from my pocket. He dumped them into his mouth eating them. "Whoa where did you guys find these?"

"In the forest!" Clem responded sarcastically.

Javier and everyone laughed. Clem smiled and we all sat down at the table.

I sat beside her of course and Elanor said the blessing. "Amen" evryone chimed in.

After eating, Clem just left to her room we were sharing since there were two beds.

"Must be tired" Javi said smirked at me. "How much did you kiss her bud?" He asked keeping the smirk on hs face.

"I didnt kiss her." I said and looked at him. "She wont let me even if I tried!"

Javi laughed and said "Give her time, she'll come around."

I nodded and got up. "I'm going to bed..." Javier smirked and teased "Try to be quiet okay"

I blushed and rushed to me and Clems room.
