Chapter 15

Gabe's POV(Clemmy is still asleep)

I held Clem close as we walked through the gates.

Many men scowled at her and muttered horrible things about her. I sighed and held her closer, ignoring the men.

We finally found my dad was all I cared about.

He said he would be here to met our group soon. I hope he likes Clem.(oh Gabe...XD)

I smiled as we all waited for my dad. He walked up and stared in shock. He glared a Clementine and shook his head as he walked up to me.

"Son...Go get some rest me and your uncle need to talk...."

I sighed and thought "Did my dad hate her too?"

We were led to this house and were told it was ours for now. I nodded and walked upstairs and laid Clem down on the bed. I sighed again and admired her a moment before laying down beside her.I wrapped my arm around he waist and thought about what would happen to us if my dad hated her...I brushed the thought off and tried to sleep. Eventually I did.

Javi's POV

David was rambling.

"Please tell me Gabe and her aren't...."

"They are" I said and added."Don't be mad at her she helped Gabe about after Mari was..." I felt myself trying to cry but held it back as David looked furious.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THIEF!" He yelled and paced as I stared at him confused.

"What do you mean by thief?" I asked and he looked even angrier as he said.

"Clementine stole medicine from us." He said and added "She stole medicine that could have saved someone's life later..."

"Why?" I asked confused and then I was shocked at what David told me.

"Clem had just become a member not too long ago with her "child" AJ. AJ was extremely sick and she couldn't accept that there was nothing we could do. So she got the idea to steal medicine to save a dead boy."

"Clementine was part of The New Frontier?" I asked shocked. She never told me this...Or anyone...I don't think...She only mentioned she was captured.

"You didn't know that?" David asked shocked as I slowly became angry.

"I can't believe this!" I said as David nodded.

"We can talk to her tomorrow right now we should let her be...With Gabe..It my be the last time"I said as I sighed and thought "I need to talk to her.."

Clem's POV

I was still confused to how I got here, and where I was. Gabe shifted a little and tightened his grip on me again and murmured. "Stay away....from her.."

I stared at him and leaned my head against him. I sighed and closed my eyes.

I kept thinking about one person...AJ. I couldn't help it. I slowly found myself crying.

Gabe mustve woken up because he was rubbing my back. I looked at him.

His eyes were half opened and he looked worried.

I sighed as he brushed a peice of my hair out my face.

"What's wrong?" He asked worriedly.

I sighed again and said, "Just thinking about someone..."

"O-Oh" He said and played with my hair. I smiled a little and pecked his lips.

He blushed and smiled. "Cl-Cllementine...Th-there's something I-I need t-to tell you."

I stared at him a little confused and then he said it....

"I love you Clementine."

I blushed darkly and stared at him, shocked. I knew our feelings had grown for eachother but i never expected to love him. But I do....

"I-" I was cut off by a knock at the door.

"I'll get it."Gabe said.

It was David and Javi. It was daylight now.

"DAVID?" I yelled and stared at him.

He glared back at me and I stood up grabbing my gun. "GET AWAY FROM ME BABY KILLER!" I yelled whilst pointing my gun at him.

Gabe stared at me shocked. "Clem what are you-" He was cut off by Javi saying.

"She's a traitor Gabe..."
