Gabe's POV

I hugged Clem and thought about what Lee told me...

I needed to be here for her...No matter what.

She smiled at me and then there was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it..." I said and walked over to the door.

I opened it and saw my dad.

"Hello Gabe" He said and Clem instantly pulled her gun out.

He glared at her and guards stood behind him.

"That thief needs to answer for her crimes..."  He said and Clem spat.

"I already did! You took away the one person I had left.." She said glaring at him.

I sighed and said.

"Dad you can't take her from me."

My dad stood frozen and glared at me.

"Son this rat could have killed someone! All for someone who was never going to live!"

My dad said and Clem asked quietly.

"Did he suffer?"

My dad's face softened and looked at her.

"He lived Clem..." He said and Clementine gasped.

"Where is he now?" She sked frantically and my dad said.

"Ask Lingard..." She nodded and then I looked at my dad.

"Dad...Please don't take Clem...Please..." I begged and he looked at me.

"Take him out of here..." He said and the guards came from behind him and grabbed me.

"HEY LET ME GO!" I yelled and fought.

My dad had knocked Clem's gun out of her hands and she gasped.

"LET HIM GO!" She yelled at the guards now pulling me out of the room.

I fought and fought them until I was thrown into a room.

They locked it soon after.

I need to get back to Clem...That was my thought as I banged on the door...Trying to kick it in but...It was hopeless....I had no idea what was happening to her...I couldn't help her...

Clem's POV

Once David's guards got Gabe out of the room he glared at me.

"How could you?" He asked and I glared at him not answering.

He glared at me again before asking.

"How could you turn my son against me?" I responded with.

"I didn't turn him against you...You did that yourself!"

He glared at me and held my gun.

"You got a real smart mouth...You know that?" He said and I responded with.

"I know I do."

He smirked and looked me in the eyes and said.

"Stay away from Gabe..." I spit in his face and said.

"You don't tell me what to do."

He furrowed his brows in anger and smacked me in the face.

I held my cheek, It stung almost as much as the last time...But that was with Troy and everyone else...

He glared at me again before turning and leaving.

I held my cheek and hissed in pain as my stomach started hurting me.

Then I remembered the pills Gabe got me...

I sighed and thought about Gabe..I know he's fine but...

I took one of them...And set off to look for him.

I looked around the halls when I heard banging on a door. I looked at the door.

It was locked...I unlocked it and Gabe ran out.

"Clem! Oh my god, are you okay!?" He asked me and then looked at my cheek.

"Did dad..." He was starting to ask and interrupted with.

"Yes..." He held me in his arms and I sighed.

"Thank you Gabe..." I said and he kissed me gently.

"Lets get you to Eleanor." He said while breaking the kiss.

He picked me up bridal style and I shook my head and said.

"I can walk!" He chuckled and looked at me.

"You can, but I really just want to carry my princess." He said and I blushed.

"Princess?" I asked and he said.

Gabe's POV

"Why yes, you are my princess and I, I am your knight in shining armor."I said jokingly and she chuckled while I walked.

We made it to  Eleanor and she gasped.

"Clem you okay?" She asked and I set her down.

"Fine just got a good slap.." She said and Eleanor nodded.

She went into a bag and handed me an icepack.

"Thanks." I said and she nodded.

I looked at her and smiled. She smiled back and said.

"Just let me know if it starts swelling worse or anything out of the ordinary."

I nodded and walked away from her and Clem held my hand.
