Gabe's POV

I smiled at Clem as we walked into the gas station. Clem pulled out her knife and stabbed a muerto.

She smiled back at me and walked away from me to search the isles. I sighed and looked around in the front of the gas station.

There wasn't much here in the front other than old postcards and news letters.

I then looked behind the cash register and found a chocolate bar. "Yes!"I thought to myself and put it in my pocket. "I'll give it to Clem" I thought.

I sighed and walked over to her. So far she had found a can of peaches. I smiled and said "hey, she kind of looks like you." She looked off and said "I get that a lot..."

I stared. Now I felt bad! Did I say something wrong?? I sighed and started looking through the isles with her.

Once we finished clearing the isles of things we could use, Clem smiled at me and asked"So you have to cuddle when you sleep?" I instantly blushed and said "Oh um...Sorry about that I said scratching the back of my neck nervously.

"It's fine." She replied, still smiling.

I reached into my pocket and handed her the chocolate bar.

"What's this for?" She asked? "I-It's for you" I stuttered and she smiled causing me to blush slightly.

"Thanks" she said before exiting the gas station.

Clem's POV

I looked at the chocolate bar Gabe gave me and smiled. I noticed Gabe quickly catch up with me and say "wanna hang out? I mean Javi and the others still look busy" He eagerly asked. I smiled and nodded.

"Sure." He smiled and we walked to the side of the gas station and sat down.

"Clem, how old were you when all this started?" He asked once we sat down. I replied with "eight."

He stared for a moment and then asked "how did you make it this far?"

I sighed and responded with "people looked out for me...And now they are all dead."

I slowly broke down into tears as I remembered all I lost, my parents, Lee, Kenny, Luke, and Jane....

I missed them...I then felt arms wrap around me and I was embraced into a hug. Gabe was hugging me.

He whispered "I'm so sorry Clem I knew you had rough past but not that rough..." He said guiltily.

I cried into his shoulder and said "I-It's okay.." It came out muffled but he still heard me.

I finally stopped crying and looked at Gabe "Thank you.." I said and stood up.

Gabe stared and said "please don't go.."

I turned to look back at him, he stood up and pulled me back into an embrace.

I blushed and hugged him back. "Gabe.." I whispered. "Hmm?" He looked at me and smiled again.

"Wanna share that chocolate bar?" I asked and smiled at him. He shook his and smiling and said "sure."

I tore the wrapping covering the chocolate and broke off a piece for myself and then broke off a piece for Gabe.

I popped the piece of chocolate in my mouth and Gabe did the same.

He smiled at me and said "wow that's really good!" I smiled and broke off another piece and gave it to him.

He smiled and popped the piece into his mouth and I popped the last piece into my mouth.

I smiled at him and he licked his lips. I laughed and he suddenly moved his hand to my face and his hand cupped my cheek.

I knew my face was flushed, I felt my cheeks burning as he wiped chocolate from my lower lip and smiled licking it off his thumb. "There ya go!" He said smiling and moving his hand away.

I just stared at him and thought "Did I just want him to kiss me..."
