Javi's POV

It was slowly starting to become dawn. I stood up, tired and hungry. I decided to go and check on Gabe.

I  quietly made my way back into the house. I went into the room he and Clem had found and saw Clementine, but not Gabe. I zoned out confused then...

"Boo!" Gabe pushed me from behind and I jumped while he laughed.

I smiled. Seeing Gabe like this, almost like he was a kid again.

Clementine's POV

I woke up to find Javier and Gabe in my room. I just stared at them. They were both laughing. Then Gabe looked at me and replied sheepishly "sorry Clem I didn't mean to wake you up." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously and smiled.

I smiled and replied tiredly "it's okay..."

Javi smirked and looked at Gabe then at me. "Well I think ill just go hunting for awhile." He said still smirking.

Gabe's POV

I watched Javi leave and smiled at Clem.

"Hey, how'd you sleep?" I asked still smiling,

She looked at me for a moment somewhat shocked, then responded with"decently, how about yourself?" I looked at her and responded with "Good"

She smiled and sat up.

I smiled back and said "I had a lot of fun yesterday...With you."

She stared at me for a moment almost confused.

"Oh um, me too.." She said still looking confused.

Javi's POV

I brought an bow n' arrow with me on my hunting trip with Tripp. He insisted he should go too.

I had found a rabbit I had been tracking it for awhile.

I finally saw it again. and pulled bac the arrow, then shooting it at the rabbit.

I managed to kill it with that arrow. "Bout time!" I grumbled picking it up and taking the arrow out.

Clementine's POV

I was still shocked at what Gabe told me.

It kept running through my head "I had a lot of fun with you yesterday."

Someone actually enjoyed my company. It seems like forever since anyone cared about me.

I missed Lee, Kenny, Jane, Luke.......AJ.

I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I wiped it quickly hoping No one would see.

I stood up and made my up onto the roof. It was quite beautiful here.

There were many trees and flowers surrounding the house.

I sighed and found myself thinking about what Gabe said again.

I smiled this time and heard a thud. I looked down to find Gabe trying to climb onto the roof.

I chuckled and asked "need help?" He smiled and said "nope!"

He finally managed to make it up onto the roof but by then I was laughing so hard my ribs hurt. He smiled and rubbed the back of his neck again. "Not funny.." He mumbled still smiling his face flustered. I smiled and looked at him. "Did you mean it?" I asked staring at him.

"Mean what?" he asked and smiled. "That you had a lot of fun with me yesterday..." I said looking off again. He smiled and moved closer to me "Sure did"

Gabe's POV

I smiled at her and she said "it's really pretty here." I thought for a moment "Not as pretty as you" I thought and said "it really is"  She smiled and looked at me again before letting out a loud sigh.

I smiled and looked at her. "Its peaceful for once" I said and she smiled and nodded.

"I wish there were more days like this" she whispered and looked at me sorrow covering her eyes.

Nobody's POV

Everyone was off somewhere doing something. Gabe and Clem were becoming close friends or possibly more, Elanor was helping Kate, Tripp and Javier were out hunting. But everyone was generally happy.
