Chapter 21

AN///Heyyy guys!!! Before I start the story I would just like to give a shoutout to SheMail220! She let me create an oc for her book be sure to check it out and tell her I said hi :p.

Clementine's POV

I sighed and clenched my teeth.

"I'll leave Gabe alone..." I said and looked at David.

He smirked and said.

"I knew you would. Glad we can compromise."

"Well where is he?" I asked and he said.

"McCarroll Ranch. Its not far from here."

I sighed and nodded.

While walking out of David's office, I started crying. I know I should be happy, but knowing I have to lose Gabe for Aj. It made me cry. I knew I wouldn't really lose him, but it still hurt.

I walked into the room we were staying while hiding out from The New Frontier. I grabbed some food and reloaded the gun Gabe gave me. I smiled and put it in my gun holder I also put on a red jacket I found in the back.

I walked out with just a little bit of food and 2 bottles of water. I wasn't going to take much since I'll be back soon...Hopefully.

I sighed again, closing the door to be met by the one and only Gabriel Garcia.

"Where have you been?" He asked and I sighed again, saying.

"I gotta go do something...." He looked at my cheek and said.

"You cant leave you're injured!"

I sighed and looked at him tears poking at my eyes.

"I'm sorry Gabe..." I said while speed walking.

"Please don't go..." I heard him say while walking beside me.

"I have to...I'll be back but we cant be together anymore...." I said and Gabe froze.

"Wh-...Why? W-What...What did I do wrong??" He said on the verge of tears

"You did nothing wrong..." I said turning to him. I sighed and kissed him.

Sadly this would be the last.

I pulled away and wiped my eyes.

"Goodbye..." I said running out of the building.

I ran to the gate and they opened it. I turned around and watched the gates close leaving a crying Gabe.

I shook my head and started walking.

Gabe's POV

I shook my head when the gates closed completely.

"Sh-She's gone..." I whispered to myself.

I face palmed myself as tears streamed down my face. I cant believe Clem doesn't want to be together anymore..I thought that we were fine...I can't believe she just randomly said this...There has to be a reason behind this.

the first person that came to my mind was my dad..David Garcia..

I clenched my fist and stormed off to find him.

I was walking towards his office when Kate stopped me.

"Gabe what's wrong?" She asked concerned.

"Clem's gone..And we aren't dating anymore..." I said and she grew angry.

"I can't believe she did this to you!"She said and I nodded.

"I can't either...That's why I know my dad had something to do with it..." She sighed and said.

"Gabe maybe this is for the best..." She said and I glared at her.

"What do you know! You left me with my dad to die! And for what to save this place?! You don't even care about me! Clementine and Javi came and got me without you! Says a lot about you being a mom doesn't it!?" I yelled at her recalling past events that occurred quite recently.

(I didn't add those parts into the book because you guys know what happened! :p)

I stormed off leaving a very ticked off  Kate. I didn't care she deserved it.

I continued walking and could feel tears coming back.

What if my father didn't have anything to do with this....

I shook the thought away and walked straight towards my dad's office.

I stood at the door for a minute before opening it.

"Hello son." He said while I walked in.

I glared at him and said.

"Why is Clementine leaving?" I asked.

"To find her son Gabe." I stared shocked.

"Clementine had a baby?" I asked in disbelief.

He nodded and I stared at the ground...

"Remember when she called me a baby killer?" He said and I nodded.

"She didn't tell me anything about that.." I said and David nodded.

"I know she didn't." He said and I continued staring at the ground still processing this.

"Aj is her son Gabe..She stole from us to help him..."He said and I sighed.

"Doesn't matter..Why is she gone? And why did she break up with me?" I asked.

"She left to find Aj...I don't know why she broke up with you but maybe because she knows the father is with Aj." He said and I closed my eyes.

"Clementine wouldn't break up with me for that...You did something..." I said glaring at him.

"Gabe that girl is a natural born liar. I bet you she was using you just to get information and to get to me since I know where he is." He said and I shook my head.

"N-no that's not true..." I said I could feel tears poking at my eyes.

"I'm sorry son...I tried to tell you, but she had you fooled..." He said and I shook my head.

"No..You...You're telling lies! Clementine would never do this to me!" I said storming out teras streaming down my face.
