Chapter 13

Kate's POV

I kept hugging Clem.

She doesn't understand what she's doing for Gabe!

"Thank you so much!" I kept repeating and Clementine chuckled and said.

"Your welcome?" I smiled at her again and then at Gabe.

Gabe rubbed the back of his neck as he put his beanie back on.

I sighed in relief and finally let go of Clem.

Clem smiled at me and glanced at Gabe who was blushing darkly.

"Why are ya blushing Gabe?" I teased.

"Leave me alone Kate!" He grumbled.

I smiled and me and Clem both chuckled.

Gabe eventually smiled and smiled at me.

Gabe's POV

I smiled at Kate, I knew I was blushing darkly and she winked before saying goodbye to me and Clem.

I smiled at Clem again and she shook her head and came back and sat down beside me.

I kissed her cheek and smiled. "Gabe you're such a dork..." She whispered and I smiled wrapping my arm around her while she leaned her head on me.

I leaned my head on her and let out a satisfied sigh.(I will never be satisfied)

She smiled and started to cuddle me. I smiled again and looked out the RV window.

It was pitch black out by now.

Clem yawned and whispered.

"Gabe I need to go to the bathroom..."

"Oh....Okay" I smiled and leaned my head off of her and unwrapped my arm from around her.

She rushed into the room we were sharing and came out with one of the gauze pink things?

She looked at me and blushed slightly before rushing into the bathroom.

"Hmmm?"I thought aloud and stood up.

Javi might know what they are....I thought and walked into the room we were sharing.

I looked over at her side of the room for the box.

I found it and took one out and stuffed it into my jacket pocket.

I walked back to my spot and waited for Clem.

She eventually came out of the bathroom and smiled at me.

I smiled back and told her.

"Hey I'm gonna go talk to Javi about something real quick...Okay?"

"Yeah that's fine, I was going to lay down anyways." She said and went into our room.

"Oh okay" I said and went to find Javi.

I went up to the front of the RV.

Tripp was driving and Javi was in the passengers seat.

"Javi I need to talk to you."I said.

"What's up bud?" He asked and I pulled out the pink gauze thingy.

"What is this?"

He stared at me for a moment before getting up and taking me into a storage room.

"Gabe, where did you get that?" He asked.

"I-I found it in a box in me and Clem's room. Sh-She took one in the bathroom with her."

Javi smiled at me and shook his head.

"Gabe, Clem's starting her period." Javi said looking straight at me.

"Period?" I looked at him confused.

He sighed and explained. "Well Gabe, Clem is going to have random pains for a week and she's going to be bleeding from her uh....Well..In between her legs..."

I blushed slightly and looked at the pink packed again and opened it.

"What's this have to do with that?" I asked.

"That...Well that helps her manage it." He said before smiling at me again before saying.

"Gabe, now that's she's started her period....She can get pregnant...So do not fool around with her, you're too young anyways.."

I blushed bright red and nodded.

"And the pink gauze is called?" I asked.

He laughed and smiled again "it's a pad Gabe!"

I was still confused to why she bled but this was kind of uncomfortable now so I folded the pad back up and handed it to Javi.

"Give it to Kate." I said before exiting the storage room.

I sighed and made my way into the room me and Clem.

I laid down in the other bed and closed my eyes and slowly fell asleep and dreamt about my baby sister Mariana...
