*THIS CHAPTER HAS BEEN RE-DONE WITH A NEW PLOT*
Before you start reading - I am re-writing the book and all of the re-written chapters will have this announcement on top. If there is none on the next chapter, please do not read it, since the plot will be off. :)
As my alarm goes off at 6:30, I feel like I haven't slept at all. I love having dreams every night, but I hate it when they became too vivid and make me feel tired, even if I've had a solid eight-hour sleep. My eyes are unwilling to open, but eventually they do and I am greeted by the soothing darkness in my room, made by the heavy and thick shades on my windows.
As my mind tries to awake itself up, I can't remember what I was supposed to do today. I know it's something important, but yet I can't remember what. Do I have the doctor's appointment today? No, that's on Wednesday.
A few seconds later, my memory finally starts working properly and I remember what is happening today. It's time to return to school after the Christmas break. Ugh. How did the break go by so fast? I literally blinked and the beginning of my break turned into the end.
A sudden scraping sound on my door tells me that my dog, Bub, is awake and in need of a walk. He discovered how to open the door a few weeks ago, so he always does this now to enter any room he wants.
His tiny feet scrape against the linoleum and soon he's in my bed, licking my face and pressing his wet nose against me, making me wince slightly from the coldness of it. I can tell he really wants to pee, since he jumps up and down my bed and runs around the room, reminding me of a person, who's crossing his legs and jumping up and down to make sure they don't pee themselves.
"Wait, you impatient creature." I tell him while trying to compress a tear-making yawn. My breath smells and makes me want to vomit, so I swing my arm off the bed and touch around for the carbonated water bottle, that is always by my bed.
Moving like an old lady and causing Bub to start growling impatiently, I get out of the bed and walk over to the window. Opening the massive dark-read shades, I see the same view I've seen for the past two months - everything covered in snow. There is supposed to be a blooming bush outside my window, but currently it's covered by a thick layer of snow, which made me smile throughout the first snow, Christmas and New Year, but now the celebrations have ended and it just has to go.
Moving to the beautifully made wooden wardrobe my dad made me when I was 12, I quickly take out a pair of black skinny jeans and a black turtleneck sweater. It's cold as shit outside, but I still don't want to wear my colorful sweaters. Mom bought them for me without me knowing, but I just can't make myself to wear sweaters this colorful. I'm not an emo, yet black is my favourite color. Or shade, as many of my relatives have tried to correct me.
Bub is growing more impatient by the second, so he starts jumping around me and scratching my leg, which makes me grumpy, since he has really sharp nails and my right leg already has a long scratch from some previous morning.
"Wanna go pee-pee?" I ask him, enjoying how he always cocks his head adorably. He does it now, too, and we both walk out of my bedroom. While I put on my navy-colored UGG boots and the warmest coat, Bub runs to the kitchen to make sure our cat, Mikie, doesn't have anything to eat before he has. He is very jealous of Mikie, especially when mom dares to pat Mikie and not Bub immediately after. He just wants to be the centre of our lifes all the time.
"Bub! Come!" I call him and hear his small paws echoing at the wooden floor, as he runs to our tiny hallway. When I pick up his leash, he gets on his bottom paws, like the cutie he is, and waits for me to put it on.
