Hold me in your embrace

It had been a few weeks since we had went on our first successful date. We had a good time, we kissed... And we also agreed to try to make this work. I knew it would be a real challenge, since Alexey is being constantly watched by my classmates, who are as obsessed with him as I am. Well, at least he's obsessed with me, too.

At school we had to restrain ourselves, because even a glance would make girls furious and suspicious. Also, we couldn't show our feelings, because the school board liked to make appearances in the breaks, since, how I had learned recently, Alexey is the nephew of our rich headmistress. She is in some kind of legacy, so she is a pretty big deal, who, for a miracle, has chosen to teach us, the middle class society. So, I no longer wondered about where Alexey got his money, because he had told me that he earns it just by breathing. Not sure if it was a joke or not, but, hey, I would pay my money just to see him be.

Alexis and Marzia still didn't know about my sneaky relationship, but there was no way I was going to tell them. Only after I graduate and start university. It would be a complete disaster, if Marzia, for example, got a hold of this information, since she had liked Alexey from the first glance, too. That and all the girls ogling over him didn't make me jealous. Weird, right? But no, I knew I had nothing to be worried about. Alexey was good and he once said that it is disgusting to cheat or be cheated on. So - no worries about this area.

"So..." Alexis tried to start a conversation as I was in a deep thought about my.... my boyfriend. It felt so weird to think that, but I loved the sensation I felt. I adored Alexey and I wanted this to work out so badly.

But, the reality, or rather, Alexis, brought me back to planet Earth.

"What's up?" I asked, picking at my "Spring Salad". There was nothing related to spring in them, though.

Alexis was picking her fingernails, which meant she was anxious. I wondered what about, because she never really talks about her problems, since she's more on-the-inside type.

Our eyes met and I saw sadness in them. Had I done something to offend her? I started to feel anxiety crawl up to my stomach, leaving a nasty feeling behind it.

"Do you ever feel like, you know, we're falling out of touch a bit?" She asked, looking down at the wooden table, at which we ate every day at school. Everyone knew it was our table and didn't even protest. I mean, everyone kind of had their own table here, so there were rarely arguments about seating.

I felt my eyebrows furrow. "Do you?"

She nodded her head slightly and a wave of regret almost swallowed me. I was so focused on Alexey, that I had almost forgotten my dear Alexis. She was the best friend a girl could ask for, but I still managed to make her feel unwanted. I'm such a bitch.

"My God, Alexis, I'm sorry, please don't feel that way. I don't think we're falling out of touch at all. I still consider you my best friend and actually..." A great idea popped into my head, making me beam. "Actually, I wanted to ask you out today."

A smile appeared on Alexis's beautiful face and I felt my nasty feelings of anxiety and regret vanish. I will fix what I did and everything's going to be amazing.

"Do you want to go to the trampoline place, where they have, like, the floor made out of trampolines and there are pools filled with squishy cubes to jump into? I know you'll love it there!"

Alexis eyes grew larger with every word and by the end she looked like an excited puppy, who's owner had decided to play with him. It made my heart warm, that I had made Alexis excited and happy again. I knew I was becoming a bad friend and barely talking to her, so I needed to make it  up to her.

We talked about the trampoline's for the entire lunch break, but when the bell rang, I decided to not go to English Business today. I was a bit tired and in need to see Alexey, who, as I had checked earlier, has no lesson in that time. We wanted to go out somewhere today, but I didn't think I would want to go out after bouncing like crazy, which would obviously happen, when we both got there. We loved to be crazy and feel the burn of the muscles after a workout, so this would be a breeze to get through. But later, if Alexey decided to go dancing or to a art exhibition like last week, where you have to stand on your feet for at least an hour,  I would be a mess to be around to.

"I'm not going to English Business, after all." I said to Alexis, who had her Business lesson with another teacher in another group, which had been made because a lot of newbies had come and we were too much for one teacher.

"Hanging out with Alexey again?" Alexis jokingly asked. I had told her that Alexey and I were good friends and we had bonded by books, and she bought it. There was no hint of suspicion in her eyes like it would've been in Marzia's. She was okay with me being 'bros' with the teacher.

I nodded and we both giggled. After a quick hug, I rushed to Alexey's classroom, wondering if he's still going to be there. After all, it was his only free period, he might as well be eating. But I doubted that, because we had been there for the whole break and no sight of Alexey.

With a light tap on his door, I opened the door to find Alexey sitting at his desk, sipping on that delicious coffee and reading some papers. He looked up, when he heard me come in and a smile spread over his lovely features. I took in his beautiful features and it made my heart swoon, like it always does. Could I ever grow tired of my handsome boyfriend?

"Hi, love." He stood up and came over to hug me. His fragrance soothed me as I nuzzled my head in his neck.

I looked up to him and our eyes met. His were as blazingly blue as always and it always surprised me how light they were. It was uncommon, but after all - he was pretty uncommon, too.

He walked back to his table and took the key from it. I knew privacy was a priority with us, so the door had to stay locked, so nobody came rushing in as we were sharing a kiss or something.

"So, how's business going?" He laughed, knowing damn well that I didn't feel the need to go to the lessons, since she couldn't teach us anything other than from the book. Not even a tiny bit of her own knowledge is used. Just the book. And that makes me angry and bored, because I could be at home, comfortable in my bed, doing exactly the same, that we do in the lessons.

I rolled my eyes to show exactly how it is going.

Alexey had a loving look on his face as he regarded me. We just stood for a couple minutes, looking at each other and wondering what good we did to deserve such an amazing person. There was no way I had ever done something that good, which lead Alexey to me. With these thoughts, a need appeared, to be in Alexey's embrace again. It was an urgency that wouldn't go away until fulfilled.

I stepped into his embrace quickly and felt his soft, perfect lips against my forehead. There was no better feeling in the world than this, I was sure of it.
