"Adèle, are you, like, having a mental breakdown?" Alexis frowned and whispered to me as we were in English.

"No, why?"

"Well, your leg has been bouncing all lesson. It's starting to stress me out a bit." Alexis laughs quietly.

Was it?

I look down and see, that my leg is, indeed, bouncing like crazy. I try to calm myself down, but all the breathing techniques weren't working, so I just have to stop it with force.

"What is up with you today? I've never seen you so stressed out!" She tells me, her grey eyes filled with worry.

"All is good. Just a sleep deprivation, that's it. I need coffee." I lied, trying to blame sleep for my problems.

"Then we have to get coffee for you, girl. This leg bouncing is making me kind of mad." She giggled and I was mortified, that my meeting with Alexey had made me such a weirdo in just two days.

The lesson ends pretty soon and we are on our way to the downstair's cafeteria. There is a small queue, but we pass the time by talking about Marzia and how she hasn't been at school since our argument yesterday.

I order my favourite and usual drink - iced caramel mocchiato - and stand at the beginning of the long counter, waiting for the barista, who our director has hired for tired students, to make my drink.

Bored, I take a look around the small cornered space dedicated to the cafeteria and see the people sitting there.

There are two blondes, who are giggling and making sassy selfies. I immediately move on, because I can't stand those eight-or-seventh-graders-who-think-they're-so-hot-and-superior.

I notice our gym teacher, Mr.Zeller, sitting at a table near me, his back turned to me. His blonde curls have always been so adorable, so my eyes sort of paused on him, but when they finally moved....I noticed Alexey sitting right in front of him, regarding me impassively and looking straight through me.

The carelessness of his glance makes me feel uncomfortable, so I immediately turn around and face the counter.

Why are his eyes so...ignorant? Was it me, who read the situation wrongly and thought he was into me? Or was I just another teenage girl, who had fantasies about her teacher?

Yeah, probably.

"Iced caramel mocchiato for Adèle." I heard the barista say my name and rushed over to her, accidentally pushing over a small child, standing in way.

I've got to get out of here.

Am I even brave enough to go to his lesson now? I feel like a complete idiot, catching feelings for my teacher and at the same time knowing, that there is no possibility of us being together.

And after all, I was only 17. He? - Probably somewhere around 20 to 25.

Not a chance.

As I was rushing out of the cafeteria, I heard Alexis call my name, but I didn't want to tell her all the details. I just wanted to drink my coffee in peace and quiet. And - without Alexey.

Since my safe place was our teacher's, Mrs. Lourley's, classroom, I rushed there. It was on the fourth floor, but this time it didn't feel difficult to get up there in record time, since I knew Alexis was almost stepping on my heels.

I swinged the door open widely, without thinking. Unfortunately for me - the classroom was full of small children and another teacher was in the classroom with them.

I stood at the doorway, embarrassment making my limbs freeze and unable to move.

"Yes?" The teacher, who was in her thirties with the "can I speak to the manager" haircut, asked me. Annoyance was clear in her face, but my body wasn't responding to my orders about movement.

"I..um...s-sorry, wrong class." I finally managed to say and my body suddenly woke up, making my legs bring me out of the doorway and close the door behind me.

Hey loves! thank you for reading, I know this was a short chapter, but I have been super busy with the final exams, so i didn't have much time to cook up something longer / better.

Anyways, since I'm done with exams, I will write a longer and juicier chapter soon! :))
