Laura's pov
After a long time on the beach,we made our way back to the house.I jumped into the shower and I changed into a black sleeveless crop top,a black skater skirt and a pair of converse.I pulled my hair out of its bobble and left it in its natural curls.I did my makeup again and met Miranda at the door.I rung my parents as we walked to the beach an told them everything.We arrived at the beach and sat on the logs around the bonfire.We played truth and dare till dark came upon us.James held my hand.
"Can I talk to you in private"he said
I nodded and he led me into the woods where their was a bench.
"I really like you Laura,more than a friend"he said
"Me too"i said
He kissed my lips and we kissed for a bit longer until I broke it off.We walked back to the group and sat back down in our places.Ben was rolling his eyes,Miranda had a smirk planted on her face as Jake scowled.We made smores and talked for a while.
"Laura I need to tell you something"jake said
I got up from my seat and went where Jake was stood.
"Laura,James is not who you think he is"he said
"How do you know"i said
"Don't hate me"he said
"Okay"i said
"When I was thirteen I used to sell drugs"he said
"What's this got to with James"i said
"He was my buyer"he said
"How can he have bought drugs he's only seventeen"i said kind of confused
"He's twenty one Laura he wants you like a toy as soon as he gets what he wants he will chuck you away"he said
"No James is nice and he's seventeen"i said
"No Laura he's not"he said grabbing my arm and like a flash James cam running towards me.
"What's going on Laura"he said
"Nothing"i said putting on a fake smile
"What did you do to her"he said
"Told her the truth about you"he said
James's face paled but he still kept a smile on his face
"What ever he said don't believe him"he said
I gulped and he turned around and attacked Jake.I screamed and the group came running towards us with shocked looks on their faces.Tears rolled down my face as Trent pulled James off of Jake.Jake looked broken with blood pouring from everywhere.James looked at me with a smirk on his face but I'm sure I saw a spot of guilt on her face.
"Laura"James said
"No"i said running to Jake
"I think you should go man"trent said
"Laura"he said
"Go and don't talk to me ever again"i said
