Chapter 7

Lisa's POV
I was getting ready for the banquet tonight with Derek. I wore my new red dress I got not too ago, as I finished getting ready, I walked downstairs and all the girls looked at me
"Look at you" Lauren said and I smiled and dani spoked up
"Punch me in the face" she said and everyone started laughing and Christina smiled
"You do look really good" she said and I smiled
"Thank you" I said and she pat my shoulder
"So when do we get to meet this guy?" Kath asked 
"You guys will get to meet him soon" I said and Lauren spoked up
"She probably not ready to let us meet him yet, she needs time with him herself for a while" she said and I smiled
"Thank you" I said and she winked and I heard the doorbell ring
"Well I have to go" I said and they all said bye and I opened the door to see Derek in a suit and tye, and I have to say, he looks good and he smiled and spoked up
"All I have to say is wow, you look stunning" he said and I smiled
"Well you don't look bad yourself" I said and he smiled
"Thanks, you ready?" He asked and I nodded
"Let's go" he said and we walked to his car and he opened it for me and I climbed in and he put on some music and don't stop believing came on and we both started singing along to it and we couldnt help but laugh and he took my hand and interwined them together
"I'm glad you're coming tonight" he said and I smiled
"Me too"  I said I seriously think I'm falling for this guy

Derek's POV
We finally pulled up to the reception place where they were holding the banquet at so I got out and let Lisa out and I took her hand and we walked in and we sit with Alex and his girlfriend Paige
"Hey guys this is Lisa" I said and Paige smiled
"Hi" she said and Alex shook her hand and we just there continued talking and everything as the night went on, we had dinner and they were giving out prizes and stuff and Lisa spoked up
"Hey I'm gonna go the bathroom real quick" she said I nodded
"Go ahead" I said smiling and once she was gone Alex spoked up
"So it looks like you won the bet, when are you dumping her" he said and Paige looked at me
"She's only for a bet?" She said disgusted and I took a breath
"I'm not dumping her Alex" I said and he gave me a look
"Fine I guess I owe you 150" he said and I shook my head
"No, I already feel bad enough, she worth more then any money you can possibly give me, I actually like Lisa, a lot" I said and he took a breath and I spoked up
"I actually, I shouldn't made that stupid bet with you to begin with" I said and Paige gave me a look as I was saying that
"Derek" she said and I ignored her
"So you can keep your money" I said
"Derek" Paige said again and I looked at her and she gesture me to turn around and I turned around to see Lisa and she looked hurt
"I was just part of a stupid bet?"
