Lisa's POV

"I was just part of a stupid bet?" I said and Derek turned around and look at me and he put his head back
"Lisa please hear me out" he said and I just shook my head and started to walk away as I texted Christina to come pick me up
"Lisa!" He said as he followed me and I kept walking outside and once we got outside he grabbed my arm
"Let go of me!" I said aand we stopped
and I looked at him and he was taking back by the tears on my face and he spoked up "Lisa please listen" he said and I spoked up
"So this was all fake for a bet?" I said and he shook his
"No...I mean yes, at first it was, and then I actually got to know you, I really do like you" he said and I just took a breath
"Yeah right" I said and he just looked at me
"Its true" he said and I just shook my head and walked away
"Lisa come on" he said and I turned around
"You come on Derek!" I said and I took a breath
"Just..why?" I asked
"Why what?" He said
"Why did you do that bet?" I said and he spoked up
"I was tired of Alex teasing me of never getting a girlfriend and can't stay with someone for longer then a month and saying you were out of my league" he said and I just looked at him
"So you're wanting to prove yourself to someone so bad, that you were willing to hurt someone?" I said and he took a breath and spoked up
"Im sorry, I didnt think of it like that" and I spoked up
"Of course because you were thinking of no one but yourself" I said and he stayed quiet and I spoked up
"You know, I thought you were different, I actually thought you were a down to earth guy" I said and he took a breath
"I am" he said and I shook my head
"No, you're not. Youre a jerk just like everyone else" I said and Christina pulled up and I looked back at him "I hope it was worth it" I added as I got in her truck
and left him there
"Is everything okay?" She asked and I had tears in my eyes
"No" I said and I spoked up
"Can we please just go home" I asked and she nodded and drove off

Derek's POV
I walked back into the banquet and went back to Paige and Alex
"Well Lisa left" I said upset and Paige spoked up
"Well you can't blame her" she said and she looks at Alex and I both
"I can not believe that you two made a bet with her like that" she said and I spoked up
"I didn't even want to do the bet, but it was only thing that will get Alex here to shut up" I said and she spoked up
"Both of you are in the wrong here, how would guys feel if it was the other way around? You know someone uses you for a bet?" She said and I stayed quiet
"Like crap" I admitted and Paige spoked up
"Okay, then how do you think Lisa feels right now?" She said and I looked at her
"I seriously do like her Paige" I said and she took a breath
"Then you better start proving it because that was cold" she said as she walked off......well this all backfired quickly
