Chapter 28

Lisa's POV

Christina was in bed when I got home last night, so I didn't get the chance to talk to her, so once I woke up, I walked downstairs to see Christina in the kitchen talking to Nick and she noticed me
"Oh hey lise!" She said and I looked at her
"Hi Christina, um can we talk?" I said and Nick spoked up
"Well I guess I'll go in there" he said pointing at the other room and we kinda chuckled and she looked at me
"What's up?" She said smiling and I looked at her
"So...I was over at Derek's last night and Derek had to go to do something in a different and left me and his friend Alex in the room, so while Derek was gone, Alex started talking of how he is attracted to me, and how of he was jealous of Derek and everything" I said and her eyebrows raised up
"Oh wow" she said and I looked at her
"Oh no, there's more, so when he said he got closer and started to lean in" she cut me off
"He kissed you!?" She said and I shook my head
"No, he tried, but I stopped him of course, but I still haven't told Derek yet, but then again I know if I told him that he will not want anything to do Alex anymore and that's his best friend, which gives me a feeling that he should be the one to tell him" I said and I took a breath
"I don't know Christina, I never been in this situation before" I said and she looked at me
"You know, he's your boyfriend Lise, you can't keep that from him forever, maybe you should be the one to tell him, can't risk your guys relationship to save theirs" she said and I nodded
"Yeah you're right" I said smiling and then my phone went off and it was Alex

A: are we good?

Is he freaking serious right now..I took a breath I typed back

L: what do you think?

A: Listen I'm sorry I shouldve never pulled that

L: no you shouldn't have, but you do know I can't keep that from him right?

A: Lisa please...you know he's not gonna be happy

L: you should've thought about that

I locked my phone and put it in my pocket as I heard my doorbell ring so I went and answered it and it was Derek standing there in his  uniform

"Hey" I said smiling and he pulled out a bouquet of flowers and I just smiled
"For a beautiful girl" he said and I looked at him and peck his lips
"Now you didn't have too" I said and he smiled
"I know but I wanted too" he said and I got quiet
"Lisa, what's wrong" he said and I shook my head
"Nothing" I said and he gave me a look
"Lisa" he said and I broke, I couldn't keep it from him

Derek's POV
"Alex tried to kiss me" she admitted and I took a breath
"Wait what?" I said and she looked at me
"It was last night when you went to do whatever and me and him was downstairs" she said and I shook my head
"So what exactly happened?" I asked while I was trying to wrap my head around it
"He basically told me that he didn't let you break off that bet because he didn't want us to work out, and that he was jealous of you, and then he just tried to kiss me but I stopped him" she admitted and I just stayed quiet and she spoked up
"I'm sorry" she said and I just looked at her
"Shh its okay" I pulled her into a hug and she spoked up
"I know he's your best friend and I couldn't keep it from you" she said and I lifted her chin to look at me
"No, you're my best friend" I said and she smiled and I pressed my lips against hers
"And besides you can't help that you're incredibly beautiful" I said and she smiled and spoked up
"So what are you going to do?" She asked
"I'll take care of it" I said as I peck her lips
"I'll see you later" I said and she smiled as I started to walk off, I am so mad that I couldn't think straight but what Lisa doesn't know is that Alex was in the cop car so I got in the car and he spoked up
"About time" he said and I looked at him
"What" he said and I took a breath
"Did you try to kiss Lisa?"
