Chapter 21

*2 months later*
Derek's POV
I am at the airport with Lisa and her family because I am going with them to Sacramento to meet the rest of Lisa's family. I am excited honestly, its my first time going to California. We are getting ready to board and Joey spoked up
"Lisa can I sit between you and Derek?" He asked and then Lynne spoked up
"Joey, I'm sure they will want to sit together" she said and Lisa chuckled
"Its okay Joey, you can next to Derek in the aisle seat alright and he can sit next to you" she said and Joey nodded and smiled really big and Lisa looked at me
"What do you do to make my little brother love you so much?" She asked and I shrugged
"I don't know" I said while laughing and she smiled then we board and after a while the plane took off and I took Lisa's hand and interwined them together and she rested her head on my shoulder and I just kissed her cheek

Lisa's POV
We finally landed in Sacramento, we got our bags and stuff and got in the rental vans and drove to our aunts house on where we are staying, we walked in and she smiled
"Hey guys" she said as she hugged all of us and she looked at Derek
"So this is the boyfriend lise?" She asked and I nodded
"Yes he is" I said and she smiled and Derek shook her hand
"Nice to meet you" he said and she smiled
"Nice to meet you" she said and she went to talk to my mom and dad
"Well, I'll show you where you will be sleeping" I said and he followed me upstairs to the room and he put his stuff down
"Consider yourself lucky that you get a room to yourself, I'm sharing with Lauren and Dani" I said and he laughed as he came up and hugged me tight
"I'm so glad you came" I said as I let my head on his chest
"I'm glad I came too" he said as and we looked at each other and went in for a kiss but we heard the door open and it was my mom
"Hey hope I wasn't interrupting  anything" she said and we shook our heads
"No worries" Derek said and my mom nodded
"Just so you know, we ordered pizza, it should be here soon" she said and we nodded
"Sounds good" I said  and she gave me a smile and walked out and I looked at Derek and we both started laughing
"Well that was awkward" he said as he hugged me again
"Just a little" I said as I pulled away
"Come on" I said as I took his hand
"Let's go eat" I said as I walking out of the room and he turned me around to face him and pressed his lips against mine which caused me to smile
"Sorry, I just had to kiss you first" he said and I just laughed and peck his lips
"Its fine" I said and we walked downstairs to where everyone else was, our little cousins was there and everything, they all seem to really like Derek, and it makes me really happy. After dinner we back upstairs to Derek room to watch a movie,we were really tired  we just sit there and cuddled and held hands, and after a while he fell asleep, and I did shortly after.

Christina's POV
I walked upstairs and I could hear the TV going off in the room Derek is staying in so I knocked and didn't hear anyone answer so I opened the door and seen Derek and Lisa sound asleep in each other arms, I couldn't help but smile at the sight, I haven't seen Lisa so happy and she looked so content, I took a blanket and covered them up and Lisa's eyes started to squint but luckily she just buried her head into Derek's chest, it's so cute, I am seriously so happy for Lisa, Derek truely does make her happy. I seriously hope they work out, because there is no denying that they belong together
