*few weeks later*
Lisa's POV
Derek has not texted or called me or anything, honestly I do miss him and how much he tried, but I really needed this time to think about everything, I had to go to the store to get Charles some more food and stuff, and I wasn't in there very long and I was standing in line and I heard
"Lisa?"
So I turned to see it was Alex who Derek made a bet with
"Oh um hi" I said coldly and he took a breath
"How are you?" He asked and I gave him a look
"I'm okay I guess" I said as I lifted everything on the counter and he spoked up
"So um listen, I've been meaning to talk to you" he said and I took a breath
"Let me guess, you're gonna say you're sorry right?" I said and he took a breath
"Listen, it was wrong, but please, don't be mad at Derek, he did want to call it off" he said and I took a breath
"When we made the deal, it was before he even met you, and once he met you, he wanted to call it off" He said and I took a breath and he spoked up
"He really did like you Lisa, so if you want to be mad at anybody, be mad at me, not him" he said and I looked at him and spoked up
"Well, I really do appreciate you actually talking to me, but I am still not sure on what to do" I said and he nodded
"Fair enough, I just know I needed to tell you that" he said and I nodded
"Well thank you" I said and he nodded and I got my stuff paid for and everything and getting ready to leave
"Well I will see you around" he said and I nodded
"Yeah sure" I said and I walked out of the store and into my car and drove home and I walked in
"Hey" I heard Christina say and I smiled
"Hi" I said and she spoked up
"There's something for you in the kitchen" she said and I made a weird face
"Go look" she said
"Okay!" I said laughing and walked in the kitchen and there was a bouquet of flowers with a note

I smiled and I heard Christina behind me
"So I wonder who those are from" she said and I laughed
"He's something else Christina" I said and she smiled
"I don't think he's gonna give up Lise" she added and I nodded
"I dont think so ether" I said and she looked at me
"So what are you thinking?" She said and I took a breath and at that point I finally decided on what I'm gonna do
"I think that I need to give him at least one more chance"
