Derek's POV
I am on duty right now, and Alex is my partner today, we were driving around since there was not any excitement at the moment
"So how was Cali bro?" He asked and I nodded
"It was great" I said and he nodded
"Good, but wow 6 months though dude? Proved me wrong" he said and I nodded
"Yeah I did, and I am in love with her" I admitted and he looked at me
"Really?" He said and I nodded
"Yes Alex, I really do love her, I have been happier the last 6 months then I have been in a very long time" I admitted and he nodded and spoked up
"I'm happy for you dude, you guys are good together for sure" he said and I nodded
"I just never thought I could feel this about someone before" I admitted and he smiled
"Its love dude" he said and I spoked up
"We sound like a couple of girls right now dude" I said and we both started laughing and we heard something on the walky talky
"Report of suspicious activity at tanger drive"
"The ghetto?" I said and Alex spoked up
"We are close to it" he said and I got walky talky
"We are arriving to scene" I said and we decided to pull up and got out and walked up the driveway and I went and knocked on the door
"Open up police" I said and no one answered
"Open up" Alex said and we heard something inside and I backed up
and kicked the door open as we had our guns up
"Police" Alex said as we looked around the house and we heard screaming from upstairs and we ran upstairs and kicked the door that noise was coming from and we seen a guy on top of the girl
"Put your hands up!" I said as I watched him climbed off the girl and walked up to me as Alex went and checked on the girl
"Turn around" I said
"But" he said
"TURN AROUND" I yelled and he gave the most awful look and spit in my face and I immediately tackled him to the ground
"I guess you wanted it the way" I said as I wiped my face off from where he spit
"I was doing nothing wrong" he yelled and I shook my head
"Yeah that's what they all say" I said and then I went to grabbed the handcuffs then all of the sudden I felt nothing but a sharp pain and I heard Alex yell
"Derek" he said and then all of the sudden I seen nothing but blackness
