Katniss's POV

I wake with Peeta's arms around me and my blood runs cold. "Why is he here?" I turn slowly and look into his eyes. They are the normal baby blue and he smiles.

"Hi... I'm here because you had a nightmare last night, that's all." He sits up and yawns, showing off his bare chest. He looks over and me and grins.

"I'll make some breakfast." "I'm not hungry." I say, even though I'm starving. "Well Katniss you need to eat or you'll fall over dead, you already look like a corpse." I huff and put my pillow over my face.

The one thing I dislike about Peeta... He makes me do things that are best for me. The phone starts ringing against the silence of the room and I pick it up, pulling it under the pillow. "Hello?" I mumble.

"Hello Katniss it's Dr. Aurelius, I'm calling to check up on you." I groan. "Do we have to right now?" "Yes right now." He says and I sit up throwing my pillow across the room. "What the hell do you need to know huh? That I'm alone? I have no family? No life? On suicide watch? What the hell do you want to know!?!?!?!?!"

"I want to know if you are taking your medications for your flashbacks." "Leave me the hell alone!" I hang up and throw the phone at the wall right as Peeta walks in with eggs and bacon on a plate for me.

I notice tears are rolling down my cheeks and I brush them away quickly. "I'm fine... Just the doctor bothering me." I take in a shaky breath and Peeta sets down the plate on my night stand. He sits down and sets me in my lap. I rest my head on his chest and sniffle.

"You gotta eat and take your pills so you can get better... For me okay?" I nod slowly and he hands me my plate of food. "Now eat for me." But before I can take a bite he kisses my lips for the first time in a long time. When he breaks away he looks at me. "I had to do that." Then he sets me down and walks downstairs and out the door.
